Mayco Stroke & Coat is the industry’s most versatile glaze, which can be the star of your work or play a supporting role to other glazes. It can be applied on greenware or bisque, fired from cone 06 to cone 10, in oxidation or reduction, and used in every decorative way imaginable. These heavily pigmented, viscous glazes can be applied as painterly brush strokes or achieve full opaque coverage. Because the liquid colour is consistent with the fired colour, artists will have no trouble visualizing finished results as they create. Stoke & Coat is a staple product for the studio, classroom, potter or fine artist.
FIRING
- Broad firing range from cone 06 (999°C) - cone 10 (1,305°C). Most will maintain their colour at higher temperatures. Performance at cone 6 is noted on each individual bottle. Some may blur when used in designs at mid range or high fire. We recommend testing on your clay and in your kiln prior to use.
- Food safe when fired correctly.
- Fires to a gloss finish without the need for clear glaze. Clear glaze can be added if additional glossiness is desired, or if Stroke & Coat has not been applied consistently to achieve overall coverage. Adding clear glaze to cone 5 and higher can affect the colour outcome and may cause designs to move and blur.
APPLICATION
- Can be applied on wet clay, greenware or bisque.
- Can be applied with a brush, a sponge, a detailer bottle, mats, or silkscreens.
- One coat of will create a translucent finish, with subsequent coats adding opacity.
- Use 2-3 coats for full opacity and all over coverage. Let dry between coats.
- Lighter colours can be used over dark colours, remaining bright and opaque, and will not blend with the colours underneath.
- At low-fire (including majolica techniques), glazes will not move or blend when used with other glazes. You can apply side-by-side or layer without losing the integrity of the design.
- For a more painterly approach, dilute glazes with water to create a thinned watercolour-like glaze. Use these tints to layer for seamless blending.
- Can be layered with other glazes to create unique effects.
- Suitable for a wide range of design techniques including sgraffito, stamping, slip trailing, marbling, majolica, and more.
- If you apply one coat of Stroke & Coat on top of a matte glaze, the Stroke & Coat will fire matte. By applying 2-3 coats, the Stroke & Coat will fire glossy.
Note: Tiles shown are fired flat on a white clay body fired to cone 06 / 6 oxidation and cone 10 reduction. The choice of clay body, the thickness of glaze application, the firing process, and temperature will affect the fired results.

Clear upgrade from my Blue Yeti - crisp sound and sleek design!

I used to have a Blue Yeti mic, and the HyperX Quadcast 2 S is a clear improvement. The sound quality is noticeably crisper and more natural, and it doesn't pick up as much background noise. It's also not as bulky or distracting on my desk, which I appreciate.
The RGB lighting looks really nice without being super over the top. Setup was super easy. Literally just plug it in and use it, no issues at all.
So far, I honestly don't have any flaws to point out. It does exactly what I need for calls and recording clips, while looking good on my desk. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a reliable, good quality mic. Worth the price!

If you don't like those <$60 mics, this is a good option
Style: QuadCast S, Style: QuadCast S
TLDR: Clear and professional-sounding mic that’s easy to set up. But it’s very sensitive — expect background noise to be picked up. Great for Discord or calls with noise suppression, less ideal for raw recording without filters.
Packaging and Setup: Comes with a solid stand already attached, so you can drop it on your desk and start using it right away. No need to buy extra mounts unless you want more flexibility. I use it with a boom mount and it is very nice. The mic also comes with a 3.5mm jack if you want to plug your headphones in and hear yourself back. There is a software that you can download to control the RGB and (if you use the 3.5mm plug) the amount of sidetone you hear back from speaking in your headphone
Keypoints:
Sound Quality: Super clear voice capture — it really makes you sound better compared to built-in or headset mics. People notice the difference right away.
Sensitivity: Picks up a lot, even on the most restrictive mode. Keyboard clicks, other people talking in the room, etc. For Discord with noise suppression it’s excellent, but without any software filtering it can sound busy. Even on lowest amount of gain, you still pick up those sounds
Build & Design: Sturdy build, the stand is surprisingly good, and the tap-to-mute is handy. The red lighting is a love-it-or-hate-it design choice.
Should I Buy? If you want plug-and-play, high-quality voice for streaming, Discord, or work calls, this is a great option. Just keep in mind you may need noise suppression or software filters if you’re in a noisy room.

Great mic, little pricy, but its dipping the toes into higher end mics so its understandable

I had been using knock off apple earbuds for a long time(i still do for audio haha) but lately people have been complaining my mic cuts out or is too quiet etc - so i finally gave in and got myself this mic - not a single word since(except how much better it is). You could probably do ASMR on this if you wanted to lol - it has all sorts of audio modes. I like the single directional one since I have a wall right in front of me (and behind the mic) so sound bounces the wall and would normally cause an echo, but this mic just ignores it and sounds great regardless. Its very well made, I don't think anyone would have anything bad to say about the build quality, its got a nice metal frame and a built in pop filter which is good enough for my use. It is just plug and play. If you have a little money to spare and are looking for a mic - I don't think you can go wrong with this one

Great Sound, Stunning RGB, and Easy to Use
Style: QuadCast S
I’ve been using the HyperX Quad Cast S for streaming and calls, and I’m very happy with the performance. The sound quality is clear and professional, and the built-in shock mount and pop filter are nice touches. The tap-to-mute feature on top is super convenient, and the RGB lighting looks amazing on my desk.
Setup was plug-and-play with no issues on Windows, and the adjustable polar patterns give me flexibility depending on how I’m using it.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the software (NGENUITY) is a bit limited—it mainly controls the lighting, not the audio settings. Also, it's very sensitive, so make sure you're in a quiet environment.
Overall, highly recommend this mic for streamers, podcasters, or anyone wanting great USB mic quality with a touch of style.
