It also has a 6.6-kilohertz high-speed input and comes with DF1 and RS-232 communication ports. The entire 1761-L16BWA controller measures 4.72 x 2.87 x 3.15 inches. It also comes with a 1K total EEPROM memory and has a maximum of 40 timers with a response time of 2 milliseconds typical for program scan time/Kword and 0.21 typical I/O scan time. It is mounted using a DIN rail or panel and has an IP20 enclosure. The controller uses 120 to 240 Volts of AC power, It also has a transformer load of 35 VA at 120 Volts AC and 38 VA at 240 Volts AC. The real input power of this controller is 14 Watts at 120 Volts AC and 15 Watts at 240 Volts AC, while its apparent input power is 26 VA at 120 Volts AC and 33 VA at 240 Volts AC. This controller has an isolation of 1500 Volts AC and a maximum 24 Volts DC sensor power of 200 mA and 200 ?F capacitance. It also has a 30-Amp for 8 milliseconds maximum power supply inrush current. The power supply voltage range of this controller is 85 to 264 Volts AC and 47 to 63 Hertz. If mounted horizontally, the controller has an operating temperature of 0 to 55 Degrees Celsius, and an operating temperature of 0 to 40 Degrees Celsius when it is mounted vertically. It also has an operating shock of 10G and a non-operating shock of 20G, as well as an operating vibration of 2.5G and a non-operating vibration of 5G. The controller has a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 95% and a radiated RFI suppression of 10 V/m, 27 to 1000 MHz, 3 V/m, 87 to 108 MHz, 174 to 230 MHz, and 470 to 790 MHz (IEC801-3).

The 1761-L16BWA is a MicroLogix 1000 controller that has a compact form and features Sixteen (16) I/O points which consists of Ten (10) 24VDC rated inputs and Six (6) relay output channels rated for 24-125VDC and 120-240 VAC. The controller is powered by an AC source with rated range of 85-264VAC.

The internal memory capacity of this controller amounts to 1K EEPROM memory, capable of storing 737 instruction and 437 data words. The 1761-L16BWA may also be programmed with the use of the MicroLogix Hand-Held Programmer (HHP). Both programming methods support download and upload of user program, monitor, test and commission of the PLC device. The 1761-L16BWA is capable of exchanging data through the integrated RS232 communication port which supports Allen-Bradley proprietary DF1 protocol. This controller is capable of being configured with automatic baud rate detection. Appropriate communication cable for transferring user program from a programming workstation are 1761-CBL-PM02 Series C, 1761-CBL-HM02 Series C, 1761-CBL-AM00 Series C, 1761-CBL-AP00 Series C, 1761-CBL-PH02 Series A, and 1761-CBL-AH02 Series A.

Aside from the embedded standard inputs, DC input channels 0 to 3 are capable of functioning as High-Speed input interface. With these channels, high speed sensors that are typically used for counting and totalizer applications may be interface.

The 1761-L16BWA is capable of being connected to Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) or Human Machine Interface (HMI) interfaces.

Great Yard Helper!
So easy to use and affordable! This edger is a great time saver, easy to operate, and relatively easy to adjust although you may need a pliers or screwdriver to help with the adjustment levels, but its not difficult. I would have given this 5 stars but just one thing that is a sticking point for me is I wish this had its own stand or hanger because of its odd shape, it doesn't necessarily balance upright too well. It’s long and the guide wheel in the front sticks out. So, it is always awkward to get it tidy in the garage when not in use. Now maybe this is what it's like for landscapers…I’m not a professional. Just a homeowner doing my own upkeep. With what this costs, I’ll figure it out, and is worth the money.

First use was great!
I've used it just the one time today. I had previously "edged" with a string weedwhacker, so while the grass was cut back some, there wasn't a trench dug out. I did a gentle push and pull, taking on about 18" at a time to get a new trench dug next to the sidewalk edge. It did a great job! The entire unit was much heavier and sturdy looking than I was afraid it would be for the price, so pleasantly surprised. Assembly wasn't complicated, but it did take two of us to hold it steady because getting the screws to seat in the square hole and not have the cord in the way was a bit tricky. I'm a 70+ lady, not large and not athletic, but I was able to handle this edger with ease. Now, to see how long it lasts!

Initially defective poor quality
This item was initially defective and I needed one so I ordered another thinking it was a fluke. Both devices would not turn on. The second one briefly turned on for about 30 seconds and died. The major inconveniences that I can't return it in the normal way. I have to bring it to UPS and there isn't one near my house. I am very disappointed with this item and also with the return policy
