EVS Vex Chest Protector

The EVS Vex Chest Protector is a lightweight roost and impact shield built for riders who want solid upper-body protection without feeling like you’re wearing a big, heavy armor plate. It covers your chest and spine from flying rocks, roost, and trail debris while staying comfortable and breathable on long motos, trail rides, or off-road sessions.

This is the kind of gear you reach for when you want confidence on entry, in corners, and through rough ground — protection that helps reduce the sting of hits without weighing you down or making you feel stiff once the pace picks up.

Why We Like It

We like the Vex because it hits the sweet spot between coverage and comfort. You get coverage where you need it most, but the slim construction and vented design keep air flowing so you are not overheating when the ride gets long. It works with most jerseys, and it plays well with neck braces so you can build a full protection setup that feels natural on the bike.

Why It’ll Work for You

If you ride motocross, enduro, or singletrack and want more roost and impact protection than a jersey alone offers, this protector gives you that without turning your kit into bulky armor. It stays secure when you are moving around on the bike, and the fit can be dialed in so it does not shift, pinch, or distract you mid-ride.

  • Lightweight chest and upper spine protection for motocross and off-road
  • Hard exterior panels help deflect roost, rocks, and trail debris

  • Low profile feels comfortable under jerseys and works with neck braces

Brilliant! I have been convinced for that the opening ...
Format: Paperback
Brilliant! I have been convinced for some time that the opening verses of I John were speaking about the resurrection and not the incarnation per se. Not that these two are opposed to one another, which is evident from Jensen's title: resurrection presupposes incarnation, but what John has specifically in mind in his letter's opening is the resurrection. So, when John says in his opening "That which was from the beginning, which we heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and have touched with our hands concerning the word of life..." What was heard, seen, looked upon, and touched was the resurrected Christ (cf. John 20:24-29). And next, "the life was manifest" would mean the new life Jesus was resurrected to, that is eternal life never to die again. And now what John has seen and heard concerning the resurrection he has proclaimed to the recipients of his letter. Moreover, it is the resurrection that confirms that Jesus is the Christ; it is his vindication by the Father that he was exactly who he claimed to be and was unjustly put to death by his fellow Jews. This then means that the major conflict taken up within the letter is over the resurrection. To deny the resurrection is to deny that Jesus is the Christ and vice versa. In fact, this is the spirit of the antichrist. Jensen goes into much more detail than this, and provides a reading of the entirety of the letter through the lens of the resurrection. His reading is overall successful and convincing. There is a portion here or there that I would differ from him, but Jensen's thesis is sound and makes remarkable sense of John's epistle. I highly recommend this book.

LOVE MY SINK CADDY!
Color: Black
This caddy is such a game changer for my kitchen. It keeps everything neat and in one place AND no more clutter around the sink! I can fit my soap, sponges, and brushes easily, and it still looks nice on the counter. The drying base really works too! It absorbs water fast and doesn’t get gross like other trays I’ve had. It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip, and even looks kind of decorative. Definitely worth it!
