Peace lilies are popular houseplants thanks to their ability to thrive in typical indoor conditions and their forgiving nature. They’re also known for their dramatic way of letting you know when they need water — the leaves gently droop, quickly perking back up after watering.
This variety has a neat, compact habit, making it perfect for shelves, desks, and living spaces where you want a touch of greenery and elegant flowers.
Plant Care
Light: They like bright indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions.
Watering: They like their soil moist all the time but don't overwater either. You will know when it's time for a drink as their leaves will begin to wilt, but they will perk right back up after a drink. The leaves will also curl if you overwater, so it's good to check the soil before you give it a drink. This plant is sensitive to tap water, so if possible, rainwater or filtered water is best to avoid browning tips.
Temperature: 18-25°C is ideal. Avoid cold drafts or sudden temperature changes
Potting: These plants like a well-draining moisture retaining mix. Our Thirst Trap mix is an excellent choice for this plant.
Hot tips: This is a particularly good beginner plant and high up on the list of air-purifying plants.
