Vaughn's SLR4 Pro Carbon blocker is hand-crafted to offer a pro-spec blocker, ready off-the-shelf. The SLR4 Pro Carbon blocker features split HD finger protection, wrapped in Vaughn's Quick-Slide material with a slight overlap. Designed to maximize coverage, Vaughn's curved index protection has been implemented with no internal seam to reduce binding between index and combined finger protection. Unique to the SLR4 Pro Carbon blocker, the expanded side shield dimensions have been reinforced with High-Density foam inserts and Vaughn’s Pro Carbon layering. A plush thumb pad helps to further protect the hand, with a lightweight mesh padding to help balance the blocker's weight.
Reshaped for the SLR4 Pro Carbon, this blocker features a higher hand position over previous SLR blockers. In effect, the higher hand positioning allows greater movement in the wrist, while presenting the blocker board at a more aggressive angle over the puck. An aggressive board angle, combined with its open cuff, give the SLR4 Pro Carbon blocker a greater range of wrist mobility. Featuring Vaughn's VX Suede palm, this blocker offers a high-tack, highly-responsive point of control, with added antimicrobial properties to help keep your gear fresh.
