We've grazed sessions in the 90's with Alex Patterson and the Orb and Andrew Weatherall and shared a few stages live but it was only last year we properly got to work in the studio together. I had seen the Invaders show in Brixton and been blown away, to me it felt like seeing a great living master of music like Miles Davis at his peak, performing with an incredible band. We reconnected and began recording. This album showcases Wobble in his most focused and mature recording for a long time... The confidence in the direction of jazz and Afro funk with the high criteria of musicianship makes this a timeless record of huge significance.
