The state of Texas patented this huge rectangle of land, at the time considered by many to be part of "the great American desert," to the Capitol Freehold Land and Investment Company of Chicago, in exchange for funds to erect the state capitol building in Austin. This "desert" became a legend in the cattle business, and it remains today a memory to thousands who recall the era when mustangs and longhorns grazed beneath the brand of the XIT. The development and operation of this pastoral enterprise and its relation to the history of Texas is the subject of this great and widely discussed book by J. Beautiful Vanity

It’s a very nice and spacious vanity. It definitely took a while to put it together but it was worth it in the end. It comes with everything all the pieces were labeled. I love the mirror and the lights. It comes with three different settings for the lights. It’s definitely worth buying.

long building process
The package came very quickly but the box was very damaged. Thankfully, nothing was broken and all the pieces were in tact but the white styrofoam pieces came out EVERYWHERE! (so be careful and make sure you build in a bigger space). It took over 4 hours with 2 people and the directions were a little confusing, especially when it came to installing the lights around the mirror, but after awhile it all came together. It is not the sturdiest vanity but it’s very nice looking. Only thing I wished for was a +/- dimmer for the light settings!

Great for adults who need full liquid diets!

I don't really write very many reviews, but I am an adult with gastroparesis and these pouches are amazing!! I've been dealing with GP for over 15 years and I wish I'd known about these sooner. When I am in a bad flare, sometimes all I can keep down is liquids and baby food. These are so gentle on my stomach, and leave me feeling truly nourished, unlike so many of the mainstream baby foods that are clearly low quality meat or very sugar laden. I try to make my own soups and liquids from a Paleo mindset, but sometimes when you're really sick, you don't have the energy to even put something in the blender. These are amazing for those times and will be a staple in my arsenal from now on.

Not just for kids. A great snack for long drives.

Our daughter buys these for her toddler (1-1/2 years old). I do a lot of long distance driving and thought that these would be a convenient way to have a snack or even a small meal. I have just spent six days behind the wheel on a road trip and they worked out great! A good mixture of protein (beef, turkey, chicken) and veggies, especially the combinations. They are easy and safe to use while driving, have good flavor, are more filling than I thought they would be, and are certainly healthier than the snacks that are usually available on the road.
