Information about the artist: Simon was born in Lancashire, Northern England. He was raised in Royston a small mining village in  South Yorkshire. He studied Fine Art for many years specializing in Painting and Sculpture. He is an influential photographer producing advertising for a wide range of high level clients including :Chanel, Dior, Nike, Reebok, Speedo, Adidas, Nokia, Hastens, Marriott, Mont Blanc, Falke. Since his debut exhibition in Miami Basel in 2008 Simon has become one of the most collectable photographers of his generation. His artwork is held in prestigious collections and museums worldwide. In 2015 Simon founded  Orcadia Film, a cinema production company. Simon lives between Paris, New York and a farmhouse in northern France. 

Information about the artwork: The show took up nearly the length of the whole Grand Palais-it was immense. I waited in position watching the brief rehearsal (which I also integrated into part of the final image) and then eventually the show. The giant iMac was fantastic and the show started with the classic sound effect from the Macintosh OS start-up. I doubled up the models using different exposures. I separated Karl a little from the army of models to make the effect more dramatic. I really liked the remote-control mini zeppelin that was used to fly a camera above the show.
