Third, and final, box set includes he Tenement Year (1988), Cloudland (1989), Worlds In Collison (1991) and Lost Album (1989).With Pere Ubu on hiatus since 1982s excellent Song Of The Bailing Man, David Thomas had recorded a much-praised solo album and the band had now signed to a major label. In a period of rampant world commercialism, what would happen next?Another crucial era for the band unraveled, Pere Ubu's journey charted new undulating territory and so began a three-album escapade that retooled our understanding of what pop music is. The third in the four-part boxed set series, Les Haricots Sont Pas Sale1987-1991 sits between The Architecture Of Language 1979-1982 and Drive, He Said 1994-2002.Solid as the band can be, it's also likely to dissolve songs from the bottom up. For all Pere Ubu's uncertainty, the band isn't arbitrary; it's music has the off-the-wall unity of a Marx Brothers routine, said Jon Pareles of The New York Times on The Tenement Year. One year later and things were further obscured with Cloudland when they released their industrial-strength equivalent of a class Beach Boys album from musicians more familiar with factories than surf. (Greg Kot, Chicago Sun Times). Then, in 1991, Worlds In Collision became the most atmospheric, carefully sculpted recording in the band's 13-album catalog. (Tom Moon, Spin). Here we have Pere Ubu between 1987 and 1991 with three phenomenal pop albums, together with the Lost Album, an 11-track record of demos that sounds like they'd loosened the nut and bolts of the genre even further. Four of these tracks, Around The Fire, Down By The River, Like A Rolling Stone and Invisible Man were recorded as demos for the album originally designed to follow Cloudland. Referred to by the band as The Lost Album they are now joined with songs from Cloudland that wouldn't fit on the original vinyl release due to the length limitations of vinyl.Disc 1 - The Tenement Year1 Something's Gotta Give2 George Had A Hat3 Talk To Me4 Busman's Honeymoon5 Say Goodbye6 Universal Vibration7 Miss You8 Dream The Moon9 Rhythm King10 The Hollow Earth11 We Have The TechnologyDisc 2 - Cloudland1 Breath2 Race The Sun3 Cry4 Why Go It Alone?5 Waiting For Ma6 Ice Cream Truck7 Bus Called Happiness8 Love Love Love9 Lost Nation Road10 Nevada!11 Flat12 The Waltz13 Pushin14 Monday NightDisc 3 - Worlds In Collision1 Oh Catherine2 I Hear They Smoke The Barbecue3 Turpentine!4 Goodnite Irene5 Mirror Man6 Don't Look Back7 Worlds In Collision8 Life of Riley9 Over The Moon10 Cry Cry Cry11 Playback12 Nobody Knows13 Winter In The FirelandsDisc 4 - The Lost Album1 Down By The River2 Around The Fire3 Like A Rolling Stone4 Invisible Man5 Fedora Satellite6 Fire7 Bang The Drum8 Postman Drove A Caddy9 Wine Dark Sparks10 The Wire11 The B Side

Love this bag!
Color: Green
I love this backpack! I had a messenger style bag before this one and when I would look for things, other things would fall out because it was one big pouch. This is so much better. I can fit everything I need in it and everything has a place. The zippers are not cheap flimsy ones. They will definitely stand the test of time. The material is awesome and is definitely water resistant. I got caught in the rain and my things were kept nice and dry. The style is so cute too! It’s my favorite color.

Comfortable,
Color: Brown
I love this backpack I thought I’d use it on vacation, thought am or using it everyday! It is so roomy, a couple of the compartments are empty! It’s great if you have any kind of back pain! I did buy a crossbody strap to use as an alternative. Great deal and well made

Easy to use, multi strap, everyday bag
This bag is super handy and feels very durable. I at first didn’t like the 3 types of straps included on it because it felt like over kill but I don’t mind it after using it regularly. I wish the long strap was thicker, more durable material but it does match the sewn on straps on the bag. The design is a bit bold for my taste but it is different, fun and unique. The canvas texture of the bag makes it easy to use everyday without concerns of excessive wear. It also has a large carrying capacity. I can fit tablet, phone, makeup, snack, large water bottle, wallet and more while still zipping at the top. I would have given 5 ⭐️ if not for the long strap which I don’t feel will last with heavy loading and daily use. And if you switch the strap out it won’t match the sewn on ones so that’s a bummer.

3.5 stars, really - not a bad bag
Okay, I like this bag. I will use it and I'm glad I got it. However... First of all, it smelled terrible out of the package. It's like a chemical smell and a rotten smell. That may just be the one I got. I let it air out by hanging it on our hall tree, and it has gotten better. The material is like a thin corduroy almost, which I like better than canvas. I also like how the decorative strap on the bag matches the handle straps. There is plenty of room in this bag, but it's not a bottomless cavern. So you can still find what you are looking for in it. You could use this for a laptop bag or professional bag. I will probably just carry it as a purse with certain outfits. I think the brown color goes with a lot, and the designs all work for fall.
