Our new Strawberry Rooibos is a dazzling blend of strawberry bits with blackberry leaves, rose petals, and safflower petals with a fully oxidized red Rooibos base. It is a beautiful blend to look at in the tin and steeps to a crisp amber in your cup.

This Rooibos presents a fabulous aroma before you take a sip and then delivers a balanced blend allowing the rooibos flavor to stand up to the strawberry sweetness. Wonderful!

Selby Select Rooibos Tea is the most popular Rooibos and the first custom tea we created. Our Strawberry Rooibos Tea will fit nicely with our nine other Rooibos blends.

At this moment, we cannot offer this tea in SOILON tea sachets. However, once Strawberry Rooibos Tea catches on, we will order some biodegradable SOILON sachets made from corn starch as an option for you.

Brewing Instructions for Strawberry Rooibos Tea

Prepared like tea, these gems contain no tea leaves. All rooibos blends are caffeine-free. Use boiling water and steep for up to 10 minutes, depending on your preference.

All teas in 2oz packets can brew 20-25 cups of tea, unless otherwise noted. We also suggest steeping our Strawberry Rooibos Tea multiple times for even more cups of excellent tea.

Rooibos

Pronounced, “Roy Boss.” The tea has soothing effects on headaches, disturbed sleeping patterns, and digestive or colic problems. Many daily recommended nutrients can be derived from hot or iced cups of tea.

The plant grows at 1500 to 2000 feet above sea level in the Cederberg Mountains of the Western Cape of South Africa.

Rooibos seeds are planted during February and March then tended for 18 months. The entire bush is harvested, cut, and milled to a uniform length. Then the pieces are bruised between rollers triggering the oxidation process. The tea turns from green to a characteristic reddish-brown color while developing a naturally sweet aroma.
