Unlike the "PL" version which is sometimes specified for certain mount clearances, the standard Right Side Panel is the universal "skin" for the URSA Mini chassis, providing the structural foundation for the internal cooling system and accessory mounting.

When to Replace the Right Side Panel

• Stripped Rosette/Mounting Threads: The right side is a common place to mount a side handle or rosette. If these threads are stripped, you lose the ability to safely use the camera in a handheld configuration.

• Thermal Obstruction: If the vent fins are bent or crushed, the camera's internal "wind tunnel" is compromised, which can lead to the sensor overheating and shutting down during long takes.

• Cosmetic Wear: In professional rental or ENG (News) environments, the right side often bears the brunt of "road rash." A fresh panel can significantly increase the resale value of the body.
