Set theory permeates much of contemporary mathematical thought. This text for undergraduates offers a natural introduction, developing the subject through observations of the physical world. Its progressive development leads from concrete finite sets to cardinal numbers, infinite cardinals, and ordinals.Although set theory begins in the intuitive and the concrete, it ascends to a very high degree of abstraction. All that is necessary to its grasp, declares author Joseph Breuer, is patience. Breuer illustrates the grounding of finite sets in arithmetic, permutations, and combinations, which provides the terminology and symbolism for further study. Discussions of general theory lead to a study of ordered sets, concluding with a look at the paradoxes of set theory and the nature of formalism and intuitionalism. Answers to exercises incorporated throughout the text appear at the end, along with an appendix featuring glossaries and other helpful information.

Elvis Jacket
Size: Medium, Color: Golden
Bought this for an Elvis themed party. It looked and fit great and the sequins didn't fall off as with some costumes that have them. It was lined and nice for the event, not for regular formal wear.

Looks nice, but seems to run small.
Size: Small, Color: Red
These run a little small. I ordered one and had to send it back, but I was able to reorder and get it in plenty of time for my son’s prom. The sequin’s stayed on well and looked really good in pictures. My son liked it.

XL was way too big for me
Size: X-Large, Color: Black
Jacket is flashy and made better than I expected. I'm 6ft 1in, 215lbs with a 45" chest and I was swimming in the XL. Sleeves were too long for me and I have long arms. I've ordered the next size down and hope they give a refund on this size for me.

Insanely small
Size: 3X-Large, Color: Golden
The jacket is well made and seems to hold the sequins well. However it runs very, very small. I am 6’1” 280lbs, I wear a 2XL shirt comfortably and the 3XL shirt I have I’m swimming in. I bought a 3XL because I read it ran small. However I can barely get this on. I’d say this 3XL jacket is probably a regular Large, MAYBE an XL.
