Although there are many children's books on emotional themes, children can rarely fully express their temper and anger throughout the book. This cut-in angle highlights the importance of this matter, and also shows that the creator understands and sympathizes with children's views and emotions when they are angry.
Therefore, "Angry Arthur" does not take adult-style reactions as the main axis to show how to restrain and change children's angry behavior. Instead, this book takes a "microscope" to take a closer look at the anger to figure out what's going on. This attitude of being open, honest and exploring emotions is also a healthy way of dealing with negative emotions.
