Seven-Thirty ThursdayFormer star athlete and current ghost writer Rick Devlin left Charleston in the rearview mirror just days after his father was sentenced to life in prison for killing his mother. Former star athlete and current ghost writer Rick Devlin left Charleston in the rearview mirror just days after his father was sentenced to life in prison for killing his mother. Now--thirty years later--he is compelled to return home to the Carolina Lowcountry to care for the reviled murderer in his final days. Just minutes after reluctantly arriving at the hospice center, however, his father reveals a closely held secret about the night of the murder that causes Devlin to question whether the "trial of the century" was a total sham. "Think about all that blood they showed on that screen in the courtroom," the old man tells him. "The blood on the knife, and on your mother's clothes, and the floor. There has to be some of the killer's DNA in all of that. And I swear on your mother's grave, not one fucking speck of it is mine."

The trial testimony was clear-cut, the evidence was slam-dunk, and the jury returned its "guilty" verdict in just over two hours. But now, as Devlin begins to poke around the edges of his mother's death, the duplicitous truths of the past become increasingly exposed--and treacherous. It seems everyone has something to hide, from the father-son team of lawyers looking out for the senior Devlin's dying interests, to a vicious bagman who leaves a trail of mayhem wherever he goes. Also caught up in the secret: a corrupt state cop, a sanctimonious Bible-thumping televangelist, the leader of a white supremacist hate group, an elderly black Korean War sniper, the ghosts of several redneck murderers, and the specter of a young black boy who died a most horrific death. As Devlin scrapes at the facts behind his mother's death--and deals with the painful facets of his family's dysfunction--he learns not just the truth about his mother's violent death, but also comes to grips with the difficult lessons of his own past.

Great for potty training
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 20
We really like these pull ups and they have worked well for us during potty training. They are easy to pull on and off, which is great for toddlers who are learning to be more independent. They fit well and do a good job containing messes without leaking. I also like that they feel comfortable and not too bulky, so my child can move around easily. Overall, these have been a reliable option for us and something we continue to use during this stage.

Preferred by daycare teachers!
Size: 4T-5T, Unit Count: 99
Preferred by daycares because they open and close on the sides and kids can learn to pull on and take on on their own

Nice
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 112
Good pull ups, it could get a little linty but it fits perfectly on my toddler. It stretches which I love. I do love how I could strap and unstrap the sides of the pull up. The designs on the pull up are cute. It holds a lot of pee and soaks it up very well. It’s comfortable on my toddler and the pee and poop doesn’t leak out of it. It is worth the money.

The Fast & the Curious- Potty Drift
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 60
Who knew toddler potty training required both a PhD in fluid dynamics and Jedi mind tricks? These Pull-Ups prove the science part: leak-proof, absorbent, and surprisingly soft. The toddler-psychology part? That’s a battle of wills. Our little one was a die-hard fan of Huggies diapers—too loyal, in fact. We begged, we bribed, we pleaded: “Please, let’s move on!” Resistance was fierce. So we went stealth mode, sneaking Pull-Ups on at night like parents on a covert mission. Credit to mom—she cracked the code and finally got the kid interested in the toilet. Suddenly, the “potty rush” moments became less of a flood and more of a sprint. Diapers were too slow to peel off; Pull-Ups gave our little sprinter the speed boost they needed. They’re soft, rash-free, and practically leak-proof (unlike that other brand we don’t speak of). Pro tip: size up for easier toddler self-removal. The result? A drier, happier kid, less laundry for us, and the toilet finally earning MVP status. If you’re ready for your toddler to graduate from Diaper University, this is the diploma. Bonus: you’ll save money too.

Mom of 3 recommend!
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 14
I'm using these again for the 3rd time and they're great as always. My 3rd is still having some issues at night time with bed wetting, and as they get older the bigger the mess, so these truly hold up to a full bladder. And they don't smell by morning like some diaper brands. I'm usually against pull ups, but these are great for up and down ease of use and that added protection when it comes to potty training. I love the bigger size inclusion for larger children which we struggle with for comfort compared to other brands.
