Crain details her incredible struggle and heart-wrenching moments from inside the ICU during the COVID pandemic, a sight very few have been able to truly experience.

About the Author

Patricia B. Crain, MSN BSN RN, is a registered nurse with twenty-four years of experience working in acute care hospitals. She is the mother to four adult children and living her dream with the love of her life and childhood sweetheart, DRB. She loves music, politics, and mentoring young nurses on how to provide a level of bedside care that exceeds their patients' expectations, while showing compassion and empathy when they need it most. Her mission in life is to continue reinventing herself to please God.

The plot was fun and the characters were written beautifully. Alexandra, Elwin, Kylo and Lucien were great characters and have the best out of every relationship dynamic. My heart does belong to Lucien, because who doesn't love a murderous psycho willing to kill anyone who hurts you? I wish there was a little more intrigue to the plot itself. The story was fun to read and well written, but it's still a straightforward Academy romance. I would've liked to see something that made the story really stand out more.
