Opening with a brilliantly-paced prologue that introduces bomber Patrick Magee in the build up to the incident, Carroll sets out to deftly explore the intrigue before and after the assassination attempt – with the story spanning three continents, from pubs and palaces, safe houses and interrogation rooms, hotels and barracks. On one side, an elite IRA team aided by a renegade priest, US-raised funds and Libya’s Qaddafi and on the other, intelligence officers, police detectives, informers and bomb disposal officers. I want to start by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with this pillow—it’s well made, good quality, and exactly as described. The adjustable shredded memory foam design and cooling features will likely work well for many people. That said, it just wasn’t a good fit for me personally. Right away, I noticed that the shredded memory foam pieces are fairly large and dense, which made the pillow feel heavier than I expected. When I laid on it, it didn’t have the light, airy “cloud” feeling I prefer. Instead, it felt more solid and structured. I also found it retained heat. If you prefer a more supportive, denser pillow, this could be a good option. But if you’re looking for something lightweight and breathable, this may not be the best choice. Overall, it’s a quality product—just not the right match for my comfort preferences.
