ÒThe Tanzania Project,Ó showcases a series of 44 photographs by artist and World Traveler Georges Le Chevallier. Le Chevallier was named as one of only four recipients nationwide of a Travelocity Travel for Good Grant to journey to Tanzania to volunteer on education, health, and social services initiatives in the community. Le Chevallier traveled with the international not-for-profit organization Cross Cultural Solutions to a village in the Kilimanjaro region and to Bagamoyo, a city on the Indian Ocean coast. He also traveled throughout Tanzania and Zanzibar documenting his journey with the photographs now shown for the first time in this exhibition. One of the photographs, Low Tide in Bagamoyo Beach, was selected by the editors of National Geographic as a finalist to the National Geographic Photo Contest 2012

Enables the person to move around while wearing.
These silicon socks look a bit odd at first glance but they work great and best of all, any lotions and oily creams are contained on the inside so you can walk around. They are very soft. I haven't had them long so I can't comment on durability, but they are not made of lightweight material.

Does the job but dangerous to walk with!
Does the job but dangerous to walk with: foot is sliding inside the sock if the foot was treated with cream or lotion prior. It is uncomfortable to sleep with but a necessary hurdle to heal your heels!
