Bringing together five of Africa’s most iconic animals, these Mixed Dress Studs reflect the character and presence of the buffalo, lion, elephant, rhino and crocodile in miniature form. Each animal carries its own symbolism within the African landscape, from quiet strength and resilience to patience and power.
Created by Patrick Mavros and handcrafted in sterling silver in our Studio in Zimbabwe, every dress stud begins as a detailed hand-worked model where the distinct form of each animal is carefully observed. Using the traditional lost wax casting method, the pieces are then cast, hand-finished and polished to reveal the depth and individuality within each design.
