With a sprinkle of love and a dash of faith, Mrs. Speakeasy set out to re-create the cookie that had claimed his heart; and with it, they captured a love for the ages. As any fairy tale should have it, ‘twas on the first day of Christmas that he asked for his love’s hand in marriage. This recipe, with warm red and white speckles that glisten like snowflakes on a cool winter night, pairs perfectly with a decadent hot cocoa and your favorite Christmas blessings.
