With his 2015 album "Colony", Josh Graham (A Storm of Light, ex-Neurosis, ex-Red Sparowes, ex-Battle of Mice...) coined the genre "Ambient Fiction" for his musical project Iivii. This moniker couldn't be more apt, as Graham is exploring the boundaries between ambient music and science fiction themes. IIVIIs music is difficult to pigeonhole: making use of analogue synths and tape loops, the music refers to eighties film music on the one hand, a nod to the Berlin school ambient on the other hand, but nonetheless sounding refreshingly contemporary. The modus operandi of layering droning sounds and crafting eerie soundscapes is forwarded to his new album "Invasion", but Graham expanded on the Iivii sound with more percussive elements, giving the music an extra drive and ominous urgency. As usual, the visual side of the album is absolutely stunning, hinting at the great invasion movies that make up the collective memory. We can't wait to see "Invasion" come to life live, with Grahams signature visuals complementing this incredible music. Not bad for the price point.

I don't mind this product; it's well-priced; however, in practice, it was slightly too oily. I prefer other beef tallow products, or even just straight-up beef tallow, rather than this product. Because I have severe eczema on my hands, I prefer tallow blends that have faster absorption. However, this product is perfectly suited for use as a night moisturizer or as a hand mask. I would probably buy this again if the formulation were less oily/greasy next time.

Exactly what I wanted and more

No odor, slightly greasy but thats to be expected. I apply it on my face before bed. I live in a dry desert so this is amazing for my skin. Within a couple days my skin looked glowly and hydrated. I even feel like my very fine lines are less noticeable (I'm only 27). My husband even commented how good my skin looks and he has no idea I even switched face moisturizer. I have sensitive and dry skin so I am very pleased. I wake up feeling great with this product. It's a heavy balm but I expected that so I really don't mind.

Initially it has a very greasy feeling and takes quite a long time to absorb. Once absorbed it feels very nice. It is a very nice thick tallow, quality seems very good.

Moisturizing

A little goes a very long way with this product. It feels amazing and makes my skin so soft. It pairs well with my snail mucin. My skin looks beautiful. Just be careful not to use too much copilot said it can cause breakouts but I’ve been using it every other day for a week now with no break outs. I also pair it with a beef tallow serum.

Sand paper residue

I ordered this in march just started to use it. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch according to reviews, however it’s like rubbing on sand paper it leaves a white residue on your skin . After it heats up you can rub most of it in but I wouldn’t reorder. It does moisturizer but the sandpaper feeling is not worth the trouble. :(
