Multi-instrumentalist Greg Ashley has gained acclaim and recognition as front man of Oakland's incredible Gris Gris, a band who combine Syd-era Floyd psychedelia, VU drone and '60s garage rock. In an attempt to release all things Gris Gris, Birdman excavates Ashley's earlier works to showcase his talents in their formative stages while keeping these jewels in print. Ashley started playing with The Mirrors as a nineteen-year-old in Texas. In 2001 the band released the vinyl-only A Green Dream (since re-issued by Birdman) which caught the interest of Fleece Records which in turn released the band's second full-length, 13 Patient Flowers, now proudly reissued by Birdman. Released posthumously in 2003, the album combines hotheaded retro-rock with groovy ballads, tinny xylophone, feng shui recitations and occasionally a confusion that approaches the Sun City Girls. Pervading it all is an acid-drenched folky psychedelia that would make fellow Texan Roky Erickson proud. An early hint of the Gris Gris to come.

I got this to replace an old iPad Pro. It does everything my old pro did, except for having a smaller screen. Good value and set up and migration from old iPad was super easy. Good battery life and so far playing games on it haven't been an issue

Ipad works great, easy to set up and everything transferred from the cloud from a backup I had (thank god because my other ipad is completely dead). Everything is in order except they put the magnets in the wrong spot xD. It doesnt matter functionality wise and I feel its more hassle to exchange than its worth so I am going to keep the iPad. With the case its in it doesnt really matter because theres a spot already for the pen.

Quality and Functional

I was looking for a case that could rotate and includes a keyboard. I have the gen 5 Ipad Air and it fits just fine. The part that rotates is magnetic (pretty strong) so if i just want the part with the ipad, I can just take it off. Keyboard is magnetic and the touchpad is such a bonus. It was easy to connect and every key works (can also change light color). Im also really impressed with the quality of the case, its pretty thick and even the plastic is nice. The navy blue color is also super cute, wish they had a dark red color too.
