Soul Asylum's sophomore release. Produced by Bob Mould (Hüsker Dü). First time on vinyl since original pressing. Reissue co-produced by Twin/Tone co-founder Peter Jesperson and Grammy®-winning producer Cheryl Pawelski. Soul Asylum first hit the Minneapolis music scene in early 1981. Core members Dave Pirner, Dan Murphy, and Karl Mueller met at local punk rock shows. Coming up in the shadow of formidable bands like Husker Du and The Replacements, show they were all big fans of, was daunting but, ultimately, it inspired them to make a name for themselves. Soul Asylum stood out immediately because of their work ethic and smart, punky hard rock sound. They made four records for hometown label, Twin/Tone Records, before moving on to the majors; first A&M, then Columbia where they scored two platinum albums and won a Best Rock Song Grammy for "Runaway Train." Originally produced by Bob Mould, this reissue is co-produced by Twin/Tone Records co-founder and Replacements manager, Peter Jesperson and Grammy®-winner and Omnivore Recordings, Cheryl Pawelski. This fresh vinyl pressing of Soul Asylum's second long player, Made To Be Broken is the first since it's original 1986 pressings and has been restored and mastered by Grammy®-award winning engineer, Michael Graves at Osiris Studio and cut by Chris Muth at Taloowa.

Really nice product from an equally nice company.

Really nice product from an equally nice company. Note: I do not have PRIME since Amazon.com does NOT stand behind their BS mark-up service and have become WORSE since they started pushing it so much at delivering non PRIME items. My experience with Belkin has always been Way Over the Top good. So I recommend any product in general. Their customer service namely and their delivery, packaging is STELLAR. This product is good in that it is robust, the white does not easily scratch (matte type), and the product seems to be well designed overall. The LED's are not obnoxious at all. The wire is thick, robust, but has enough travel to be useful. Only small enhancement would be to put the switch up top instead of at the end of the power strip to provide more options. And maybe add a USB port.

Works Well And Nicely Designed.......... See Photos~

Delivered as pictured and described. I was a bit concerned because of the super low price, thinking maybe it was a discontinued model due to problems but we've had good experiences with Belkin products so I went with this one... When facing it plugged into the outlet, the cord does lean right as advertised. Length is also correct. True white, not an almond color, so it looks nice with white outlet and carpet where visible. The switch is effectively placed on the end where the cord comes out so it's harder to accidentally switch off. Also it lights up on top to indicate green for protected or red for not grounded. Also designed for a phone line on the opposite end but we haven't had use for that where we are using this surge protector. Will update this review should we utilize that feature or have any issues. Smart design at a great price. Uploading photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!

All in One; Power Strip & Surge Protector
The Tripp-Lite Protect It Surge Suppressor is definitely the All in One tool for the job. This power strip surge protector features seven handy outlets; number seven (at the end) is a wider plug surrounding that works wonders for plugging in that bulky AC adaptors that tend to take up so much space otherwise. Its twelve foot cord allows easy extending that is almost as large as most rooms. The red on/off tap button glows a pretty reddish/orange when lit, but does tap on and off rather easily, so it's best to either mount it on the wall or low on the wall/floor molding, or have it somewhere where the button will not be easily tapped, otherwise everything goes off. The little Green LED light at the top of the switch ensures you that everything is in working order. We had a pretty bad electrical storm not long after ordering this product and when all of the other lights in the house dimmed, the Television set didn't flicker, so at $21 dollars, I feel that it has already paid for itself. One last note, for all those who are concerned with having only, or prefer, "Green" products, this power strip is ROHS Compliant; meaning it meets all requirements under the California Compliance Code.
