First edition of this rare privately-printed history on the Everglades Club in Palm Beach, Florida. Quarto, original publisher's full morocco decorated in gilt, pictorial endpapers, illustrated with numerous color and black and white photographs. In fine condition. Commissioned by Paul Singer, Addison Mizner's 1918 design for the Everglades Club on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida, is widely considered to be the biggest success of his career. In the club's first season Mizner received four architectural commission and went on to become America's foremost society architect of his era.
