Introducing the Infratech Slimline Series Single Element SL2427SV 2400 Watts 277V 8.7 Amps Infrared Electric Patio Heater 42.5 x 4.75 x 3 in. Silver Color. This is a 2400 Watt 277 Volt 8.7 Amp heater. At 42.5 inches long, this heater will heat an area of 7 by 7 feet at a mounting height of between 7 and 8 feet. The SL Series heaters must be surface mounted only and may not be flush mounted. The reason is that the SL-Series heater housing operates at a significantly higher temperature than the W-Series or C-Series fixtures due to the narrow profile and tight clearances to the heating element. The SL housing would exceed safe operating temperatures for wiring with restricted air circulation. The SL Series comes standard in a stainless hue anodized aluminum finish. It can also be ordered in All Black Shadow finish Compatible controls for this heater are the Simple On/Off switch, the Input Regulators and all Custom Control options. Please keep in mind that the available Infratech heater voltages of 120, 208 and 240 are typical for residential properties, while 277 and 480 are more common for commercial. If you're not sure which voltage to choose, please consult with a licensed electrician. These heaters come with a full 3 year warranty from Infratech.

Several people have commented on how soft it is and stated they thought it was a Minky couture. I washed it on gentle cycle in cold water and dried it on gentle low tumble dry. It does not seem to be shedding now. I washed it a second time and put vinegar in the rinse cycle because supposedly that is supposed to help bind the fibers or something. Still seems to be not shedding. It's probably the softest blanket I have every owned. When I wash it, I will continue to wash it on gentle in cold water and dry on either gentle low tumble dry r just air fluff. I read the heat good make the fibers loose and cause more shedding. If anything changes, I will update.
