LP version. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl. Presented in spot varnish sleeve. The Shape of Things is a collaboration between John Foxx and electronic composer and synthesizer collector Benge (Ben Edwards). The latter is best known for his 2007 album Twenty Systems, which Brian Eno described as a brilliant contribution to the archeology of electronic music. The follow-up to their critically acclaimed Interplay album (META 028CD/LP, 2011), The Shape of Things was recorded and mixed at Benge's studio in London. Like Interplay, it's the sound of analog synthesizers and drum machines - and on one track feedbacking guitars played by John Foxx himself. There's a raw, experimental edge to much of the material on the album, which is linked together by a series of instrumentals. Although not overtly autobiographical, the tone of the songs is a lot more reflective and emotional than the duo's previous work. Many of the lyrics explore feelings of loss over opportunities and lovers missed - possible futures that remain unlived. Machines built decades before the album's creation conjure an atmospheric, rough-edged accompaniment for this set of feelings and atmospheres. It's both analog and forward-looking - echoes the past while remaining futuristic - a strange push and pull that mirrors the words perfectly. John Foxx formed Ultravox! In the '70s and has worked with a wide range of artists since including Brian Eno, Xeno & Oaklander, The Soft Moon, Krautrock producer Conny Plank, Paul Daley from Leftfield, Cocteau Twins guitarist Robin Guthrie, and I, Robot (2004) director Alex Proyas.

Super comfortable - much better than memory foam wrist rests!
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large, Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large
Get this wrist rest - you won't be disappointed. Had ergonomic keyboards and have tried memory foam rest in the past and this is much better. Smooth wood, perfect height and very supportive to keep wrists in neutral position when typing. Got the 17.3" and like that there's ample room to not feel squashed, but probably could have done with the medium length. Great angle for my mechanical keyboard. Love it!

What an excellent wrist rest! Except for this one thing....
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large
This is a solid piece of wood with great quality. Fantastic large rubber grips on the bottom (left and right sides only).
Pro: I use it for editing and gaming. And though I thought the wood might be a bad choice in the long run, it turns out it's pretty nice. Not as comfortable as a gel rest but I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. I buy things for function AND aesthetics. I love how this looks. The uniqueness is really something. I got the natural one instead of the black so that the grains and lines can be easily seen.
Con: Unfortunately, after almost 2 months, the wood has warped some. Not enough to effect my typing but, enough that I notice it. The warp is the kind where the opposite angled corners go up and down. While the other 2 corners are fine. In my case, the top left and bottom right, when pressed independently, rock the wrist rest. The top right and bottom left stay grounded. This is why I took a star off. Because there's no way this should be happening.
So, looks and quality are up there. The rubber grips are solid. Why it's warping is puzzling to me. NO liquid wasted on it. Or, extreme temperature changes have happened. I've made sure the rubber grips. And that the surface the rest sits on (a glass mouse scrolling top by Superglide) is clean. Yet, I get this slight rocking. It bugs me this all happened right after the return window closed. I would've simply exchanged it. I love it too much. I mean, this is, again, a SOLID piece of wood. Maybe this won't happen for everyone. I mean, it's wood. Eh
I would still recommended this regardless.

Fantastic Product
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Small
This is very nice! I type all day for my job and this made a big difference. It's very comfortable and supportive.
Im allergic to latex rubber, which is in most gel options. It's really nice to have a safe, effective alternative

Beautiful, Solid Real Wood Wrist Rest
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large
This wooden wrist rest feels premium and the finish is super smooth — it’s noticeably nicer than foam or gel pads. Real wood looks great on my desk and still feels comfortable during long typing sessions. Definitely worth it if you want something stylish and functional.

True-to-photos color, solid build, and great for organizing
Color: 2Pcs Green
Durability: This tray feels well-made and sturdy. I replaced a fragile tray that shattered when it fell, and this one feels like it would hold up far better to normal day-to-day handling. I am not going to stress-test it, but it feels substantial and nicely finished.
Use and ease of use: It does exactly what a tray should do. It is easy to carry, stable when set down, and the woven leather surface feels secure and helps keep items from sliding around.
Color: The green woven leather matches the website photos. No surprises, no weird undertones. It looks clean and high quality in person.
Organization: This is where it really shines for me. It is a great fit for corralling items on a table, counter, or dresser and instantly makes things look more intentional. It is not stackable, but it is not advertised as stackable either, so that is fine.
Size and accuracy: The dimensions match the schematics online, which I appreciated. It fits the space I bought it for exactly as expected.
Overall, it looks high-end, feels durable, and is a simple upgrade if you want a tray that helps keep a space organized without feeling flimsy.
