MENSOLA is the world's smartest computer mount, designed by the wind and manufactured in 6Al/4V Titanium by lasers. Each mount is designed specifically for stem face-plate geometry, ensuring minimum weight and maximum strength plus improved aerodynamics over previous computer mount solutions.

The vision for MENSOLA started with a question by Josh and the SILCA team... "What if we could remove traditional manufacturing constraints from the design of a computer mount?" Does anybody really want an extra clamp on their handlebar? Clearly NO, but traditional manufacturing constraints have made it impractical to make all of the sizes necessary to sell a mount that will work with all of the various stem face-plate geometries.

The solution comes in the form of 3D printing, which gives SILCA the ability to manufacture practically any geometry without limitations of tooling or raw material stock sizes. With what is essentially an unlimited design opportunity, the engineers then set their sights on making the strongest, most beautiful, and functional cycling computer mount ever seen. Borrowing structural design elements from architectural and aerospace engineering, the team at SILCA were able to use a stressed-skin design with internal truss elements. The result is a computer mount that is 10-15% lighter than aluminium mounts manufactured by CNC techniques, while also being 6-12 times stronger than those same aluminium designs. The stressed skin also allows for aerodynamic design elements to be used resulting in a reduced drag coefficient compared to previous designs.

Each MENSOLA is printed with 6Al/4V titanium in SILCA's Indianapolis facility and matched with the highest aerospace grade 6Al/4V Titanium hardware for mounting to a stem. Weights range from 27gm to 36gm depending on the bolt spacing of the stem or hardpoints of an integrated handlebar. Please consult SILCA's fitment guide to determine the correct fit for your bike.

GETTING STARTED: The MENSOLA Computer Mount is bolted to the packaging. Remove bolts and mount. All Mensola mounts ship in the Garmin configuration, to change to Wahoo style mount, remove the center bolt and rotate the mounting puck 90 degrees so that the tab fits in the left hand side slot. Use a SILCA gear wipe and/or Microfiber towel for cleaning.
