Performance Based Design

No one wants to play an uncomfotable instrument and Ibanez knows this. The SR range of basses are slim, lightweight and are carved carefully to sit close for extra comfort. They also use extremely slim necks that are unlike any other bass you may have played. Versatile Electronics

Not only do you have a set of brand new PowerSpan humbucking pickups with open poles but you also have Ibanez's own custom 3 band EQ with power tap switch. That switch is the real magic as it lets you go from humbucking (modern) to single coil (traditional) sounds instantly and even lets you access an enhanced single coil mode which punches up the low end.
