宮西達也

　　一九五六年生於日本靜岡縣，日本大學藝術學院美術系畢業。曾經從事人偶劇的舞臺美術、平面設計工作，現在為專職繪本作家，至今創作數十冊以上的繪本，屢獲大獎。作品《今天運氣怎麼這麼好》獲得第三十屆日本講談社出版文化獎繪本獎、《超神奇糖果鋪》獲得日本繪本獎讀者獎。
 
　　其他暢銷作品有「霸王龍」系列、「小卡車」系列、「超神奇」系列、「我贊成！」系列、《小豬別哭啦！》、《小小跟屁蟲》等（以上皆由小魯文化出版）。
