MTC Bio Culture TubesMTC Bio Culture Tubes MTC Bio Culture Tubes are available in both 1275mm (5mL) or 17100mm (14mL) capacities. Low density polyethylene (LDPE) snap caps can be attached in two positions. The first position allows for the flow of air both in and out of the tube enabling aerobic culturing. The second position offers a leak proof and air tight seal making it ideal for anaerobic culturing and or sample storage. They are engineered with two plastic polymers:
MTC Bio Culture Tubes are available in both 12×75mm (5mL) or 17×100mm (14mL) capacities. Low density polyethylene (LDPE) snap caps can be attached in two positions. The first position allows for the flow of air both in and out of the tube enabling aerobic culturing. The second position offers a leak-proof and air-tight seal making it ideal for anaerobic culturing and/or sample storage.
They are engineered with two plastic polymers: Crystal clear polystyrene (PS) and transparent polypropylene (PP). PS tubes are temperature-safe from 0°C to 70°C, while PP tubes withstand temperatures of -86°C to 121°C, making them a durable and reliable choice for long-term storage. Polystyrene tubes may be centrifuged at up to 2000xg. Polypropylene tubes withstand higher centrifugal forces, up to 4000xg.
All tubes and caps come sterilized to SAL 10-6 and are RNase, DNase, pyrogen and cytotoxin free.
