Experience streamlined, reliable control of PS/2 servers and consoles with the Black Box ServSwitch EC KVM Switch. This compact, dependable device provides single-console access to multiple PS/2 systems, so administrators can manage a cluster of servers, lab workstations, or development rigs from one keyboard, video monitor, and mouse setup. Built for environments where desk and rack space are at a premium, the ServSwitch EC focuses on simplicity, durability, and efficiency. By handling PS/2 legacy hardware gracefully, it reduces cable clutter, minimizes downtime, and delivers fast, hardware-based switching that doesn’t require drivers or software configuration. Whether you’re maintaining a data center beneath the desk, prototyping in a lab, or running a small office server room, this 4-port KVM switch helps you stay organized and productive.

  • Centralized, single-console control: Effortlessly manage multiple PS/2 servers and consoles from one keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Switch sources quickly using intuitive front-panel controls or keyboard hot-key sequences, enabling you to administer all connected devices without reconnecting cables.
  • Space-saving, compact design: A low-profile chassis is ideal for crowded desktops and tight rack spaces. By consolidating multiple PS/2 connections into a single, compact enclosure, it helps you keep your workspace tidy and maximize cabinet real estate.
  • Hardware-based switching with no driver required: The ServSwitch EC delivers fast, reliable transitions between sources through dedicated hardware. No software installation or driver configuration is needed, reducing setup time and potential compatibility issues.
  • Robust cable management and durable construction: Built for daily IT use, the switch minimizes cable tangling and provides dependable performance in busy environments. Its sturdy enclosure is suitable for desktop or cabinet installation and long-term deployments.
  • Legacy PS/2 compatibility for labs and small data centers: Optimized for PS/2 keyboards and mice, this switch is ideal for laboratories, development environments, and smaller data centers that rely on PS/2 infrastructure. It preserves compatibility with older peripherals while delivering consistent video and input handling.

How to install Black Box ServSwitch EC KVM Switch

  • Plan the layout: Determine the best location for the switch where you can easily access the front-panel controls and connect all PS/2 servers and consoles without stretching cables. Consider airflow, accessibility, and cable management when selecting the installation site.

  • Connect console and server ports: Attach the PS/2 cables from every server and console to the appropriate ports on the KVM switch. Label cables where possible to simplify future maintenance or reconfigurations.
  • Power the unit: Connect the power supply if your model requires external power. Verify that all power indicators are active and that the unit powers up properly before proceeding to testing.

Great for aggressive chewers
These are some of the strongest bones I've ever seen. I have aggressive chewers and my puppy loved this bone. She lays on the garage and goes to town on it, not making any marks or chards or breaks like we do often have to deal with. They are long lasting as she has been chewing on it for a month now - well worth the money.

Great chewy for my dogs
My 3 dogs love these already. I smeared peanut butter on one side and passed them out. My 2 that aren't crazy active or aggressive chewers enjoyed the PB, then were done for now. Energizer bunny dog has now claimed all 3 and is alternating which one she chews on. Great buy for keeping them, especially her occupied.

Would not buy again
My dog loves chew toys and was very excited when I opened the package. She played with it for about 10 minutes and now she wont touch it. It does seem very durable as she chewed on it and there was little damage.

Long lasting, not super appealing to my dogs.
Objective Data: I have two 50 pound dogs; a 10mos goldendoodle and a 7yo viszla. The puppy is a moderate chewer, the senior dog takes chewing in binges. He will occasionally get something and work it over for awhile and then not seek out anything to chew for a couple of days. Initially these went over well, but neither of my dogs pursue these much after a few weeks. The puppy will occasionally bring one over to briefly chew laying at my feet. Even with the initial, enthusiastic chewing of "new" toys these are still very intact!! These are going to last such a long time. **CAUTION** if you have beige carpet I don't recommend these toys for your home. They blend in to the color of our carpet and I cannot tell you how many times I have rolled my ankle or stubbed my toe kicking one across a dim/dark room. I would rather walk barefoot through a minefield of legos.
