A very rare opportunity to own a 'S' range oval extending table and six S320 chairs designed by John & Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture, retailed through Heals.

The Stag S Range were produced between 1960 and 1963, after which time it was discontinued due to a lack of commercial success. This range has not been reissued or reproduced, so you know you are getting a genuine vintage piece.
The table features nickel-plated steel legs, solid afromosia sides with teak veneered top. The top is in excellent restored condition with the central extension leaf matching the rest of the table beautifully.
The chairs also feature nickel-plated, steel frames with solid afromosia backrests and black vinyl seat pads. We have had the seats professionally reupholstered with all internal foam & wadding replaced then covered in a lovely soft black leatherette making them fully compliant with current domestic fire regulations.
The set has a true modernist aesthetic, way ahead of its time!
Excellent restored condition, no major marks or damage, there may be some minor polished in marks as to be expected for its age, some of the chair frames have some minor wear to the nickel plating, please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
