How to measure size for riding jackets?

Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly

·         It will be helpful to have a family member or a friend take the measurements

·         Please use flexible tape only, like a tailor’s tape

·         All the measurements must be in the same units, whether cm or inches

·         You should preferably be wearing base layers while taking measurements, and avoid anything bulky

STEP 1 - Measure using a tailor's tape

There are two key measurements that you need to take into consideration for figuring out your jacket size.

A) Chest - Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the chest and do not inhale while taking the measurement. Tape measure over your chest should be comfortable i.e. not too tight or loose. Keep your arms loose on the sides, and breathe in normally.

B) Waist - Measure the circumference of your waist over the belly button. Keep the tape parallel to the ground, not too loose or too tight.

STEP 2 - Find your jacket size by checking measurements against the size chart provided

·         If both the measurements do not fall in one particular size - use the larger of the two measures to choose the jacket size.

·         If the two measurements are on the border line between two sizes, choose the one that offers a preferred fit i.e. sporty fit (lower size) or comfort fit (higher size) depending on your preference.

·         Remember, each brand has its own body size charts, so do check the chart before you select the size.

How to check fitment for riding jackets?

How to check if the armour is in the right position and how to make adjustments to ensure the armours stay in place?

If you are trying it on at the store, wear it for 5-10 min to get comfortable in it. Keep in mind that the Kruger Air is designed to work best in the riding posture with the arms forward. So other movements could feel restrictive.

STEP 1 - Confirm that the armours are in the correct position The jacket fit should be such that the armours are in the anatomically correct position. Since we are all unique, this could mean that the elbow armour might be slightly off in some cases depending on length of your arms.

STEP 2 - Ensure the armours are properly positioned.

·         In case the jacket fit is correct but the elbow armour is slightly off, use the cinching mechanism to adjust the elbow armour and bring it closer to your body.

·         To do so, first make sure the ladderlock is not on the same line as the webbing.

·         Pull the ladderlock slightly away from the body, and simply pull it away from the loop to tighten or towards the loop to loosen.

·         You also have cinch straps on the hips for adjustment.

·         Please watch the video explaining these steps and reach out to us if you need help!

Materials

Crafted from abrasion-resistant Cordura 500D, the Kruger Air is purpose-built for high-mileage touring. Reinforced panels at impact zones improve tear resistance, while heavy-duty mesh construction allows for all-day breathability. Premium fittings, bar-tacked seams, and durable adjusters ensure the jacket holds up ride after ride. Original YKK zippers & pullers for extra durability and smooth operation of zips with best in class coverage with 180 jacket-pant connector

Protection

DESIGNED FOR COMPLETE PROTECTION

·         CE LEVEL 2 PROTECTORS - Equipped with CE Level 2 Power Tector armour on the shoulders, elbows, back and chest, the Kruger Air offers serious protection without restricting movement.

·         Proper protector placement - Shoulder, elbow and back protectors positioned as per Indian body measurements. Chest protectors positioned closer to the sternum for improved safety.

·         Wider coverage - Larger Type B protectors for shoulder & elbow, and full back armour offer wider coverage.

·         Dual-layer Cordura reinforcements in key slide zones boost abrasion resistance.

·         Add an optional chest protector and connect to your riding pants with the built-in 180-degree pant connector for full-body coverage.

Comfort & Fit

DESIGNED FOR RIDING POSITION

·         Designed for the touring stance, the Kruger uses our FocusFit system to keep all armour snug and properly aligned.

·         Articulated sleeves, flexible panels, and fine-tune adjusters at the arms, waist, and hips help reduce pressure points and eliminate fatigue during long hours on the road.

Ventilation

DESIGNED FOR INDIAN CONDITIONS

CrossFlowTech - With large mesh panels across the chest, back, and sleeves, the Kruger Air ensures airflow exactly where you need it.

Temperature Tested - Armours work across a wide temperature range from -20 C to 40 C with no performance loss

Armour design with AVS - Even the Power Tector armour comes with perforations to encourage ventilation in high-impact areas, so you stay cool without compromising safety.

Visibility

Discreet yet effective reflectives are placed across the arms, chest, and back to light you up under headlamps - without breaking the jacket’s clean, low-key aesthetic. Visibility when you need it, subtle style when you don’t.

Wash and Care

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Body armours/ protectors must always be removed before starting the washing process

CLEAN & CARE:

·         For dirt and stains, clean with a soft-bristled brush and lukewarm water (DO NOT USE HOT WATER)

·         DO NOT allow your jacket to come in contact with solvents (do not use fabric softener!), fuel, or cleaning agents.

·         DO NOT use any kind of CHEMICAL or ALCOHOL-BASED product. For longer life of the fabric, we recommend hand washing the jacket using mild detergent

·         Do not place your jacket near, or come in contact with a direct heat source

·         Dry the jacket on a hanger away from direct sunlight where there is good ventilation.

·         Zippers need to be cleaned and lubricated regularly - you can use vaseline or candle wax

STORAGE:

·         Make sure your jacket is completely dry with armours removed before you store it on a hanger.

·         If stored wet or in a non-ventilated area as it allows mildew to grow on the fabric causing discoloration and damage

·         Do not store the jacket in air-tight plastic bags

·         Please watch the video explaining these steps and reach out to us if you need help!

Things to Remember

The Kruger Air comes with PowerTector CE Level 2 certified protectors for Back, Shoulder, Elbows AND CHEST.

·         Even the best of protective armour is of no use if it is not in the right place. The Kruger Air jacket comes with multiple adjustments to help get the armour position right for you!

·         Smartly placed stretch panels at the back and elbows allow for ease of movement and ensure a snug fit to the body.

·         The Kruger Air is a well-ventilated riding jacket making it perfect for the hot and humid Indian conditions. We achieved this by using a combination of a special blend of mesh and fabric in the construction of the jacket, as well as by using ventilated Powertector CE Level 2 protectors.

·         We even made sure that the inner lining of our jacket pockets are made of mesh so that it does not inhibit the flow of air when you're on the move.

·         The inner lining of the jacket is also treated to enhance moisture wicking which helps cool you down during long days in the saddle.

Best Diaper Brand!
Size: Size 1, Unit Count: 96
Got these as a gift for my friend who just had a baby and she was thrilled! Never underestimate the simple gift of diapers to a momma with a newborn! Mother said she prefers these diapers because of their quality and softness. This is about the best price for high quality diapers you can find!

Great Product-Love These
Size: Newborn, Unit Count: 31
We have tried other name brand diapers over the years and people rave about other brands, but our experience with other brands is not good. Even the hospital doesn't use this brand and baby's onesie kept getting wet. They were folding their Pampers down at top for umbilical cord where Huggies have cut out for umbilical cord. Our personal experience is other name brand diapers seem to leak with our babies, and these stay snug and keep clothes and baby dry. When it says 100% leak proof and all-around blowout blocker it's factual for us and our babies. They are easy to use and durable. We have babies with sensitive skin and there is no irritation with these diapers.

Feat of diaper engineering
Size: Preemie, Unit Count: 30
I liked these well enough until my preemie had the biggest poo I’ve ever seen. That diaper probably weighed almost as much as he does and his white footie pajamas were untouched. Miracle. Worth every penny. Absolute legend.

Perfect thank you
Size: Newborn, Unit Count: 144
These baby diapers have been an excellent choice. They are very soft against the skin, which helps prevent irritation or chafing—even for babies with sensitive skin. Their absorbency is excellent, keeping the baby dry for several hours, both day and night. Furthermore, the fit is comfortable and secure, allowing the baby to move freely without any leaks. Without a doubt, they are practical, reliable, and provide peace of mind for parents. Highly recommended!

Outstanding, top of the line diaper!
Size: Preemie, Unit Count: 30
We normally use Huggies Little Movers with our 3.5 year old (nothing against them, they're also great diapers) but recently decided to give Swaddlers a try, and will not be going back. This is a top-of-the-line diaper and excels in all ways. We use a size 7 though could *probably* get away with a size 6, and use about 4-5 diapers a day on average (not including his overnight diaper) depending on how much he's had to drink and how often he poops -usually once a day, but could be as many as 3 times, especially if he doesn't go one day. The first thing you notice about these diapers is how soft they are. I mean, they just feel like they would be comfortable on a child, and since they're in them practically 24/7, that's important. The diaper is mostly white, and the overall designs are more muted than a lot of other diapers, with "Shilo and Friends" -an elephant and duck - on the front and back. I personally wouldn't mind something bolder, I don't think my child cares or even notices. There is a wetness indicator that goes down the length of the diaper, front and back. Nice to have I suppose for a caregiver who maybe doesn't change a lot of diapers, but at this age and stage, it's easy to know and tell. Like all Pampers diapers, they are scented. I happen to love the gentle powder-like scent, but it's a turn-off to some who describe it as too strong, and of course, if your child is sensitive to that, you may want to avoid Pampers diapers. Inside, the top sheet liner keeps his skin dry, even when he wets heavily -which is usually - and does a good job of keeping poop from sticking to his bottom. The "blowout barrier" in the back also helps contain any messes. In terms of absorbency, I'm pretty amazed at how much they can hold. Being a little older, he tends to stay drier for longer periods and then pee a larger amount at one time, but the diaper almost always holds it in, and leaks are rare. The one thing I wish that Pampers did do was have wider tapes, like Huggies, at least on the larger sizes, where kids are more active. It hasn't been a problem, so I don't really have a reason for saying that, other than that it seems like it would help with fit, but it certainly won't keep me from buying or using them in the future.
