Moving in the directions that originated with the Environments recordings and evolved to become extended pieces like Klaus Schulze's Gewitter, Robert Henke's Studies For Thunder, Brian Eno's On Land and Steve Peter's Here-ings, the music of From The Gray And The Green finds it's origins in landscapes. This time, landscapes that Marc Barreca knows as his home-the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. These eleven pieces and three digital-only bonus tracks are sculpted from layers of synthesized and sampled instruments, field recordings and processed vinyl. Barreca tells us that "My goal was to create immersive, evolving landscapes shaped by a dynamic past and viewed as if through the translucence of passing clouds." From The Gray And The Green offers a music of contrasts and change, departing from traditional ideas of ambient to arrive in shifting landscapes of the strange and the beautiful. Includes an eight-page booklet and download card for the complete album and three bonus tracks. Mastered by James Savage.Marc Barreca has been creating and performing electronic music since the mid-1970s. His 1980 album, Twilight, reissued on vinyl in 2016, was one of the earliest releases on Palace Of Lights. From The Gray And The Green is his ninth solo album for the label. Recent releases include Shadow Aesthetics (2018) and three collaborations with K. Leimer. Reissues include work on the acclaimed VOD box set American Cassette Culture, the Cherry Red compilation of seminal U.S. electronic music and the 1983 cassette, Music Works For Industry, now on vinyl. His work is also included in the collection of The British Library.

Beautiful angel for garden, doorstep or inside.

Our sister in law passed away on Easter Morning. We decided to send this to my brother and his family. It’s absolutely gorgeous. We mailed it to Germany and because it’s not as heavy as it looks it only cost us under $30 to send. A lot better than flowers, when you never know what they’ll look like when they arrive. We were all very pleased.

Solid, Detailed Design

I really like this garden angel statue -- from the SAMPU CRAFT store. I like the features and the overall design. The product features a solar lamp. It's super easy to use and requires no wires or electricity. The lamp is easily removed, so you can charge it up in a sunny spot and replace it if necessary. It doesn't take much sun to charge it up. While it's not an overly bright lamp, it will last for hours.
The design of the angel figurine is very detailed and expressive. The wings and hair are particularly well done. I love the gently curved posture of the angel as she rests her face on her hands. The figurine is on the smaller side -- only about a foot high -- but it stands out as a nice statue in my garden. This garden piece would definitely work on the lawn or on a porch. It's a nice yellowish-white that would blend in to most places. But, there are a few green vines painted along the side of the little lamp post which makes it perfect to sit in a garden. The lamp casing itself is black and will just disappear when the light is on.
I have several angel statues and I must say -- this one is very nice and stands out. It makes for a soothing, peaceful addition to my memory garden! Thank you.

Solar light quit, soon after I got it, battery maybe, but I love the angel and its design.

Love the detail of the angel, the facials features the details in the wings love the rose vine! Great garden decor the solar lights only worked the first day i even checked the battery position and the on off switch, I am assuming the battery died, but I can get another solar light i still love the design.

Good Quality

This is absolutely beautiful. The lighting is ambient and not bright, with a warm glow (not as bright as the photos), and the charge lasts about 3 hours, give or take. The plaster mold is done very well so that it looks high end. It is also high-quality because I dropped it and it didn't break. For this reason, the price is right. This would be a great gift, but also a wonderful ornament for the yard or even as a welcome at the front door.
