The Major Diatonic is the standard Blues tuning and may be played in the 1st & 2nd Positions (Straight Harp & Cross Harp). Understanding 1st & 2nd Positions The Major Diatonic Harmonica was originally intended for playing simple Folk music of the nineteenth century and its notation layout was adequate for that purpose. The Major Diatonic harmonica is the most commonly used tuning for playing Blues, Rock, Country Folk & Jazz. Several other manufacturers, using various names stamped on their cover plates, for marketing purposes, have the exact same notation layout as a Lee Oskar Major Diatonic harmonica. The original style of playing, known as 1st Position (Straight Harp), is suitable for playing simple melodies, Folk music and various other types of music that call for melody lines, along with some chords. 1st Position (Straight Harp), is still used by many players today, but due to its simplicity of sound, it is not as popular as 2nd Position (Cross Harp). The evolution of music introduced Blues, Rock and Country and along with these new forms of music came the need for greater expression. Harmonica players began to experiment and found that when they primarily used the inhale (draw) notes, a different kind of sound was provided. This resulted in a new and more fluid style of playing, known as 2nd Position (Cross Harp). 90% of today’s players use 2nd Position for Blues, Rock, Country & Pop music. 2nd Position (Cross Harp), is a Blues scale that offers a more expressive and soulful sound. Many of the draw reeds can be bent (a technique used to change the pitch of a note).Shipping Notes

Good value for my application
Style: 37.1 sqft(34 pcs), Material Type: Aluminum 197 mil
I wanted this product for heat and sound installation. Worked well for my application of insulating Jeep floorboards. Easy to work with. Good adhesion. I may have went for a little thicker material. But it's better than only carpet. That's what Jeeps have so it worked great for me. Good value for the money, I like the size of the squares since I needed to do a lot of trimming anyway.

Good value
Style: 16.3 sqft(15 pcs), Material Type: Aluminum 197 mil
Works well in installation but recommend an aluminum foil tape to go over all seams. Seems to work well as a heat insulator. Not sure about durability UNTILL we get some years under our belts.

Absolutely zero difference. Anyways, I have both doors full of the stuff. I'd pass if I were you.
Style: 8.7 sqft(8 pcs), Material Type: Aluminum 197 mil
Not what I was thinking. I've used insulation like this that was composed of heavy material, this one is not. This product must be for boats or airplanes where weight is a primary consideration and noise is not a problem. This is too light to have an effect on vibration or road noise. Absolutely zero difference. Anyways, I have both front doors full of the stuff and I'd pass if I were you.

Great in my trunk

Was almost enough to do my full trunk on my 2012 civic si. I have exhaust and a subwoofer that were making a lot of rattles and drones in the trunk. Took everything out and covered about 70% of everything including the wheel wells and the rear deck support, even put some under my spoiler and behind my license plate. Now, quieter ride and no vibration from the trunk inside OR outside the car even with bass cranked up. This is a great product and I would definitely recommend.

Does the job well
Style: 37.1 sqft(34 pcs), Material Type: Aluminum 197 mil
Really nice quality. There are strings woven into the top along the foil. Easy to work with. The backing peels off smooth and usually in one piece. Great value
