How to install Electro-Voice RE3-BPCL Wireless Microphone System

  • Step 1: Unpack the RE3-BPCL kit and ensure you have the beltpack transmitter, lavalier microphone, receiver, antennas, power supply, and cables.
  • Step 2: Install fresh batteries in the beltpack transmitter and, if applicable, power up the receiver using the supplied power supply.
  • Step 3: Attach the CL3 cardioid lavalier microphone to your subject at chest level, using the clip to secure the mic cable neatly and avoid rubbing against clothing.
  • Step 4: Clip the beltpack transmitter to a belt or pocket, route the cable under clothing to minimize noise, and position the lavalier mic for optimal voice capture—usually 6–8 inches below the mouth.
  • Step 5: Power on the receiver and enable auto-scan or manual channel selection to lock onto a clear RF channel; ensure antennas are oriented for best reception.
  • Step 6: Connect the receiver’s XLR output (and/or other compatible outputs if provided) to your mixer, PA system, or recording device; set initial gain levels on your audio chain.
  • Step 7: Perform a sound check with the presenter to optimize mic gain, proximity, and lavalier placement, and adjust speaker levels to avoid feedback.
  • Step 8: Conduct a quick environmental scan to confirm stable RF performance in the venue, watching for any potential interference from lighting rigs, other wireless devices, or reflections that could impact signal quality.

Fun for Pups and You Can Hide a Treat Inside!
These chew toys are fun for my pup! He especially loves that I can hide a treat inside, which keeps him interested and entertained. They’re a nice size for small dogs and puppies, and I also like the light colors because they’re easy to spot when they end up under the sofa because somehow they always do!

Cute toys but not for tough chewers. Might be too thick for my 6 lb girl
These are fun for the right dog, but not a good choice for all. They're a good size for medium dogs and some small dogs, but "small" is relative I guess and the size of this toy won't work for all small dogs. I definitely expected these to be smaller, though I measured and they are the size shown in the listing (for those in the US it's about 2 1/4" by 4 3/4"). I think one thing that surprised me is how tall (?) they are, or maybe thick? They show two measurements in the listing but not the other. That's the one that makes a big difference with small dogs, especially really small dogs like mine. I have a 6 lb Maltese with a teeny tiny mouth so I have to find toys that she can fit her teeny mouth around. She loves toys with nubbies and has other "spiky" toys like this, but so far hasn't been too interested and I wonder if it's because it's too thick. If she doesn't give them a try we have doggy friends who are big enough for them, more the 12-16 lb size. There was a bit of smell on them when I first opened the package, but after giving them a quick wash (which I do with all chew toys like this) the smell was completely gone. Whatever it was must have just been on the outside because it hasn't come back. I can't really say how durable these are, but I doubt they'd be good for tough chewers. They're not super soft but in the world of dog chewing they're medium at best. They're very cute and if you have a medium to soft chewer they could be a great addition to the toy basket. They also have a hole down the middle which could be filled with something to lick out, another way to keep them busy. Can't say any of this makes them worth the rather high price asked though.
