The new 3S pad still provides similar material that is found on the Ultrasonic pad ( C.O.R.Tech ST exterior material, 151 degree core, squared off knee block, tune-fit strapping, curv-composite reinforcement). 

EXTERNAL CONSTRUCTION

The external skin of the pad is the same C.O.R.Tech ST from the Ultrasonic that is designed to give goalies additional durability in high wear zones and still providing the massive rebounds that most goalies are looking for. 

INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION

Bauer is introducing a new 151 degree core angle, this new angle is designed to allow for a tight butterfly seal and the ability to have a real wide butterfly and still closing off the five hole. We also still see Bauer reinforcing the core of the pad with CURV composite for additional durability. 

STRAPPING

Much like on the Vapor pad this new strapping setup on the 3S allows for the goalie to really dial in how connected to the pad they want to feel. We also have the new bungee cord toe strap setup that is found on the Vapor pad.
