Florida Grace Shepherd, eleventh child of the itinerant, snake-handling Reverend Virgil Shepherd, grew up traveling across the Appalachian South. In her heart, she raged against the constant hardships that her parents insisted were part of the Lord’s plan. As she got older, she learned of her father’s “backsliding” with other women, and watched as it drove her mother to an early grave.
Returning to Scrabble Creek, where her happiest memories took place, Grace recounts the harrowing journey of her life with the Lord, from her travels with her father to the day she finally broke free of him only to marry another preacher much older than she, as well as her own stumbles along the rocky and winding path to her own redemption.

It froths, but is not dependent

While this frother does “froth”, it has many more cons than pros. The ONLY pro is it froths. The cons—only good for a traditional coffee cup. It is not water proof, and the instructions say to keep the “unit “ dry. As you froth, the liquid naturally raises height. If you are trying to use a Togo coffee mug, or thermos type travel mug—it only works well if done it three or four levels to ensure keeping the motor above the liquid. The “rechargeable “ function DOES recharge, however- it may last 1use or a few. It’s VERY inconsistent. And does not seem to be related to how long you allow it to charge. Overall—not a good buy. I had mine maybe 3 months before it quit working. And at 2 months it started becoming spastic. Even after just being charged-it wouldn’t even froth 1cup. AVOID!!

The rechargeable design is very convenient, and the battery lasts a long time between charges. It feels sturdy and well-made, and cleaning it is quick and simple. Wonderful grinder:

This is one little powerful grinder. It holds 30 grams in the glass jar which is perfect for 2 cup 10oz cups. It has a dial to adjust the grind. Great for two! It works great. Really good purchase. It is a labor of love.
