FEED YOUR VOICE WAVEFORMS
Morph your vocals into synth waveforms to create unique timbres that merge human and machine qualities. At its most extreme, Humanoid will turn a voice fully into a synthesizer, while moderate settings will add a subtle electronic shine to the vocal mix. Choose from 64 factory wavetables - or import your own - for unbound sonic variation. Then use the shaping features to further sculpt the sound of your robot voice alter-ego.

CREATE HARMONIES FROM ANY VOCAL
As an alternative to instant hard-tuning, Humanoid's pitch can be controlled manually via automation or MIDI. This allows you to use any vocal take as a seed for creating new, perfectly pitched, melodies, harmonies and chords. Turn a lead vocal into a symphony by layering it with re-pitched variations of itself or use Humanoid as a futuristic vocoder. The re-tuning engine handles note changes seamlessly, even across large ranges.

OUR DEEPEST PLUGIN YET
Humanoid lets you go as deep as you need to create your unique vocal sound. Click the ,gear, icons next to the knobs to unlock advanced calibration options and features. Tweaking is optional, however, and with 180 presets crafted by leading sound designers, you can produce professional-grade robotic vocals right out of the box. For good singers, Humanoid offers new timbres and variation. For bad singers, it offers a total make-over! Only your creativity sets the limit.

Pitch
Set how Humanoid's hard-tuning engine corrects incoming audio. Use the Scale mode to correct notes in real-time to a selected musical key or use Note mode to correct the pitch manually on the keyboard display or via automation. Finally, you can use MIDI mode to set the pitch via a MIDI track or controller. Engage the preset lock to browse presets without changing pitch settings.

Synthesizer
Humanoid's second vocal transformer is a wavetable synth engine that follows the pitch of the incoming signal and re-synthesizes it with selectable waveshapes. Use it to morph a fat synth layer into the vocal sound and take the synthetic feel even further.

Transform Knob
Morph between robotified hard-tuning and re-synthesized vocals to seamlessly blend between human and machine. Use the shape and stretch parameters to manipulate the wavetable and the note shift and octave parameters to fatten and shift the pitch.

Filter
Humanoid's onboard filter section gives you quick access to familiar tone shaping tools like high and low-pass filters and a sweepable mid band that can boost or cut. Humanoid's filter acts on the spectral content from the analysis phase, making it capable of extremely sharp cuts that a traditional filter couldn't achieve.

Effects
Humanoid's effects section gives you creative tools to warp your voice. Widen makes the voice wider, while Warble offers spectral vibrato. Freeze is a unique stutter effect that can be synced to the BPM or programmed freely.

Utility
The Utility section contains helpful tools for improving the results of the vocal processing. Limit the note range to improve pitch detection, add a de-esser to tame sibilance and a gate to reduce bleed and background noise. The smoothing function reduces harsh harmonics for a more soft and relaxed re-tuning style.

Presets
Humanoid comes with 180 presets from top sound designers. From classic hard-tuning effects to transformative vocal manipulation, you'll find expertly built patches that work across a variety of genres.

Sharpen
Enhance the vocal signal to achieve a clearer and sharper balance that will cut through the mix. Click the calibration icon to control the brightness.

Output
Set Humanoid's global output. Click the calibration icon to set the input gain and global dry/wet mix. Click+drag the bottom right of the interface to re-size.

Settings
Enter the settings menu to show/hide tooltips, change the interface color, launch the quick-start guide, access resources and more.

Buffer
Humanoid works by analyzing incoming audio in the spectral domain. Select the Low buffer setting to analyze a smaller window of audio for low latency performance or select Medium or High for better pitch tracking at the expense of higher latency.
