A very good quality yet very affordable 3x Barlow lens for 1.25". Through the use of an ED element colour correction is improved, resulting in a sharper image and better contrast.
Fields of Use:
After inserting the Barlow lens between the telescope and the eyepiece, you get 3x the original magnification with the same eyepiece. For example a 20 mm eyepiece will effectively be turned into a 6.5 mm eyepiece, but still with the comfortable long eye relief of the original eyepiece. The Barlow can also be used photographically, especially for planetary imaging or for taking photos of small details on the moon. The large clear aperture of 24 mm offers ideal illumination on any 1.25" eyepiece.
