The EAW SB250zP Black is a 1050W, dual 15-inch passive subwoofer designed for high-output performance in permanent installations where deep, impactful bass is essential. As part of EAW's premium SB series, the SB250zP Black is engineered to provide excellent low-frequency reinforcement in a variety of professional applications, including small auditoriums, theaters, A/V systems, hotel ballrooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, exhibit areas, f/x reinforcement, cruise ships, cinemas, and small dance clubs. With its dual 15-inch drivers and vented, optimally tuned enclosure, the SB250zP Black delivers powerful bass with remarkable clarity, making it ideal for a wide range of environments that demand high-quality sound and deep bass.

The SB250zP Black features two 15-inch cone drivers that are designed to handle high power levels, providing solid, deep bass while maintaining clarity even at high output levels. The dual-driver configuration ensures that the subwoofer produces greater low-frequency output than smaller systems, filling larger venues with impactful bass. With an operating range of 36 Hz to 150 Hz, the SB250zP Black is capable of reproducing both deep sub-bass frequencies and more controlled mid-bass, making it a versatile solution for various applications. The subwoofer's performance is enhanced by the use of a DSP system with a 1-way filter, which optimizes the low-frequency response for better clarity and reduced distortion at high output levels.

The SB250zP Black's 360-degree coverage, both horizontally and vertically, ensures even bass distribution throughout the venue. Whether installed in a small auditorium, hotel ballroom, or retail space, the SB250zP Black provides uniform bass response, eliminating "dead spots" and delivering consistent performance across the entire space. With a maximum SPL of 139 dB (peak) in half space and 133 dB (peak) in whole space, the subwoofer is capable of delivering the high-impact, punchy bass needed for high-energy environments like dance clubs and cinemas. The calculated average SPL of 133 dB (half space) and 127 dB (whole space) ensures powerful output while maintaining clarity in any installation.

The subwoofer's impedance is designed for flexibility, with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms for each driver and a minimum of 7.3 ohms at 150 Hz. The SB250zP Black can be configured in both single-amp and dual-amp modes, offering additional flexibility for different audio setups. The recommended high-pass filter (HPF) of 30 Hz with a 12 dB/octave Butterworth slope protects the subwoofer's drivers while ensuring optimal performance across the full frequency range. With a continuous power handling of 1050W (at 4 ohms), the SB250zP Black delivers reliable, long-term performance in demanding environments.

The SB250zP Black is built to withstand the rigors of permanent installations. Its enclosure is made from durable Baltic birch plywood, offering structural integrity and resonance control for superior sound quality. The wear-resistant textured black paint finish ensures that the subwoofer maintains a professional appearance even in the most challenging environments. The powder-coated perforated steel grille provides protection for the drivers while allowing optimal sound dispersion. With dimensions of 30.18 x 24.98 x 19.62 inches and a weight of 112 lbs, the SB250zP Black strikes the perfect balance between portability and robust construction, making it easy to integrate into a wide variety of spaces.

Great Book
Format: Paperback
I am reading this book for our Sabbath school study. Great reading. Submissions are made by real people trying to live right in a wrong, so wrong world. Very applicable to real life.

Valuable and timely
Format: Kindle
The various perspectives on the topic of diversity was refreshing, and the focus was on what is most important about the Christian faith. It is much better to read case studies like these rather than the echo chamber of social media.

The Power of Story in the Information Age
Format: Hardcover
After reading John Inazu's first book 'Confident Pluralism', I thought this might be a deeper foray into the legal/cultural difficulty of living faithfully in a pluralistic society. Instead, Inazu and Keller do something different. They challenge us to listen to stories of folks seeking to embody the principles of 'confident pluralism'. Does it offer easy answers? No. However, it does offer us a window into the rich ways that God can move us, transform us and position us for His purposes in communities where we might have deep disagreements. Overall, these stories of small and large acts of faithfulness to exemplify Christ's humility, patience and tolerance were deeply encouraging to person that constantly tries the patient of a God whose love he does not deserve. Very thankful to Inazu and Keller for organizing this. This is an important conversation in an acrimonious age where we falsely substitute information/vital statistics for people/real relationship.

easily accessible stories for engaging the culture
Format: Kindle
Inazu gathers stories of Christians seeking to engage the broader culture while maintaining their faithful beliefs. I appreciate the varied perspectives, though not agreeing with all, but then his four categories as the beginning of practicing this. That one line demonstrated a humility that I appreciated. This brings practical application into a narrative form that should be easily accessible
