The EAW MK5396i BLACK is a powerful and versatile 800W passive 2-way portable loudspeaker that delivers exceptional audio performance for a wide variety of applications. This speaker is part of the MK5300i Series, which is designed to be the primary PA system in smaller venues, including houses of worship, auditoriums, corporate A/V systems, hotel ballrooms, and meeting rooms. The MK5396i BLACK excels in larger venues as well, including arenas, stadiums, nightclubs, and themed entertainment complexes, where high output and clear, consistent sound coverage are essential.

At the core of the MK5396i BLACK is a 15-inch low-frequency (LF) driver and a 3-inch voice coil compression driver for the high-frequency (HF) range. Together, these components deliver clean, full-range audio with a broad operating range from 48 Hz to 19 kHz, ensuring robust bass response and crisp, detailed highs. The speaker features a nominal beamwidth of 90° x 60°, providing even coverage across a wide area and making it an ideal choice for installations where consistent sound is required over large distances.

One of the standout features of the MK5396i BLACK is its high SPL capability, with a maximum sound pressure level of 139 dB and calculated output limits of 127 dB (average) and 133 dB (peak) for both LF/HF and LF sections. This allows the speaker to perform at higher levels than would be expected from a loudspeaker of this size and price, making it suitable for even the most demanding environments. The speaker's advanced crossover and beamwidth-matching design ensure smooth, consistent power response throughout the entire frequency range, eliminating any unwanted discontinuities typically found in other two-way loudspeakers.

The MK5396i BLACK also offers flexibility in its configuration. Users can select between single-amp and bi-amp (external processor) operating modes, and it includes an external signal processing option with a high-pass filter and DSP with 2-way filters. This enhances the speaker's performance, ensuring that it operates optimally across various sound systems. The design is compatible with both MK5300i series systems and SBK Series subwoofers, offering seamless integration into existing PA systems. Enclosures for both series share the same height, allowing for versatile installation options where different horn patterns or speaker types are needed.

Constructed from exterior-grade Baltic birch plywood, the MK5396i BLACK is built to last while offering superior acoustic properties. The speaker is finished with a wear-resistant textured black paint, providing durability and an aesthetically pleasing appearance suitable for professional environments. The grille is powder-coated and perforated steel, offering protection while maintaining sound quality. Additionally, the MK5396i BLACK is IP56-rated, which means it is fully protected against dust and water, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, even in harsh conditions.

The EAW MK5396i BLACK is a powerful, reliable, and versatile loudspeaker, perfect for both smaller venues and large-scale installations. Whether you are looking for a main PA element or a distributed fill speaker, this model offers high-fidelity sound and excellent coverage, ensuring your audio needs are met with clarity and precision.

Beautiful Art and Great Insight for All Fans
Format: Hardcover
I'm a huge fan of the series. Not just for the story, character depth or enticing music.. but the art. It's what hooked me the first episode I saw. I mean, c'mon, you can't deny how gorgeous the premiere looked! So yes, I JUMPED at the opportunity to grab a copy of this baby. The cover is quality. Then you open up to the map of the Avatar world followed by an introduction given by M. Night... And then, the revealings of Avatar's beginnings come to light. One of the things I have to stress about this book is the amount of insight about the behind the scenes work. For the fans who want to know how this deep story came to light, they tell you and they don't hold back. Everything from insights on the difference between American Animation studios and Asian Animation studios to momo going from a robotic monkey to a lemur explained.. It's really great and helped me appreciate the show a lot more. This makes up the first of five chapters. After this, it comes on to highlight sketches from each episode in chapters made up of each season. Some explained in depth, such as "Jet" and "The Blue Spirit" and others just illustrations with very minimal explanation, such as "The Deserter". (Season one). They include small extras about the DVD covers and the chibi Avatar animations as well. The artwork is beautifully colored and high quality ensured. It looks absolutely great. My only nitpick about the book is how short it feels. At times, I wanted more artwork and more details, or wanted some of the art featured to be larger so I can gasp at the details. All in all though, this book really shows how much thought, love and care was put in and the vast amount of talent of those who worked on it. Boy do they have talent. The art speaks for itself. Even friends who aren't fans of the show loved looking through the book. A must buy for any fan or anyone interested in this line of work for that matter. Go! Buy it! The Avatar will blow you away! Eh heh...

Best Supplemental Book EVER!
Format: Hardcover
This is probably the best Avatar related product I ever bought apart from the three seasons that comprise the series. The book details everything you would want to hear about especially if you are interested in "Behind the Scenes" things like I am. This book details pretty much the entire production process. It features how Bending was inspired, early character designs, story ideas, even how they came up with the hybrid animals. I love how the creators talk about each character, and every single episode is talked about in this book, even if they only take a page to talk about. This book impressed me beyond words. I loved each page, each drawing, some of the early work on Iroh looks really cool. If you are a fan of the animated series this will make a phenomenal addition to your collection of Avatar related memorabilia. It's a wonderful book and I plan to read it many more times. If I could put one criticism to this book it would be that there is no explanation of where Zuko's mom went but I can live with that until the next comic book comes out.

Gorgeous.
Format: Hardcover
This artbook is utterly beautiful. When I first tore open the box and laid my eyes upon the product, I literally gasped in amazement. After watching The Last Airbender movie, simply thinking about Avatar filled my body with disgust and made my gag reflex quite sensitive. I couldn't even watch the show without having terrifying flashbacks of the disgraceful film. Thankfully, looking at this book reopened my eyes to the sheer brilliance of the true series. Every single word written in this book is basically pie for an avatard like me. Bottom line: I ate it all up. And I loved it. This book is filled with details about the series, how the makers came up with their ideas, what inspired them, and so much more. What REALLY put the icing on the cake is the artwork (duh h4x0rzzzzz, it's an artbook). Every little pencil sketch, drawing, painting, left me in awe. So stunning! Most of the time when I buy books, I'll read/look at them once or twice and then it spends the rest of its book-life sitting on my bookshelf, collecting book-dust. I can guarantee you that this is a treasure that won't have the opportunity to sit still. Definitely worth the buy!

Must Have for All Fans!
Format: Hardcover
This book is wonderful! If you are a fan of the show, it is indeed a "must have." As an artist, I was also hoping for a lot of character designs so I could have accuracy if I decided to make some fanart, and this is chock full of character designs. It has every last costume each main character or secondary character wore as well as designs for all of the people you see milling about the background of the episodes. There are beautiful samples of environments, building designs, and production artwork as well, and many humorous little notes jotted here and there next to the art. There are even images of the Wanted Posters and a certain Waterbending Scroll. ;) They go into detail about the creations of the characters, go over episodes, and give you a lot of fun trivia to know. So if you are an artist also looking for some reference material(this had all I was hoping for and tons more) or you just want a ton of fun facts and nice images to look at, you will not be disappointed!

You get more than what you paid for.
Format: Hardcover
This extensive book is a must not only for fans of the animated series but for anyone with an appreciation for artistic practices. The skill and time dedicated into creating the animated series is well reflected in this journal, with an excellent layout and beautiful page spreads of conceptual arts not only is it a must have item, it contains very informative accompanying text that give a real background on the design and development of the project. The pages are thick and good quality with a glossy finish and the hardback cover will take a beating, (although this is a book you will want to preserve for a long time to come, i wouldnt recommend throwing it under a truck)It is clear that the developers of this series are passionate about their work and are enthusiastic in sharing their journey with you. The sketches and conceptual arts, designs and architecture drawings are of a quality and uniqueness you will not find else ware and the character development sections really discussed in depth the motivations and inspirations for their creation. This book is an inspirational read for anyone and well worth more than the cost.
