This rug features repeated geometric / lozenge patterns, typical of this style, woven in soft shades of pink, beige and orange on a brown base.
Finely woven and intricately patterned, this rug is more influenced by the fine Oriental weavings intended for Commercial Trade to discerning European buyers than the more rudimentary, utilitarian Village weavings made primarily for local domestic use or household income support.
