Condemned Labz Commissary Whey Protein is a no-nonsense blend that's all about getting you quality protein for recovery after workouts, hitting daily totals, and building lean muscle. It's not some fancy isolate-only thing or a heavy meal replacement. It lands right in the sweet spot with 24g protein per serving, 2g fat, low sodium, and a trio of whey sources: whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and hydrolyzed whey protein concentrate.

The big win here is how these whey types team up. Whey protein is backed by tons of studies for boosting muscle repair – big reviews and data show it helps with growth and recovery when you get enough protein overall. A 24g scoop is right in the zone that kicks off muscle building for most people, especially post-gym. It's a legit hit of protein, not just something to make the label look good.

Whey isolate is the clean, quick part of the mix. It digests fast, packs essential aminos, and keeps fat and carbs low. That keeps the shake lean and handy after training or when watching calories. Whey concentrate adds a bit more body and full dairy proteins, still with all the aminos you need. Hydrolyzed whey concentrate is broken down into smaller bits upfront, so it absorbs quicker and feels lighter after a workout than straight concentrate.

Overall, it's a setup that delivers fast and practical. Hydrolyzed whey and isolate help get amino acids into ci

Key Highlights

  • 24g protein per serving – that's a solid dose for real muscle support, not some weak snack pretending to be a supplement. Studies on whey and muscle building often use 20-40g servings, where the good stuff really happens.
  • Three whey types in one mix – whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and hydrolyzed whey protein concentrate each add their own perk. It's built for quick amino delivery, easy mixing, and daily use instead of sticking to just one kind.
  • Whey isolate in there – this is the purer whey that helps keep the macros lean with less fat and carbs. Perfect if you're cutting, recomping, or just want max protein per scoop without extra junk.
  • Hydrolyzed whey included – these are pre-broken into smaller peptides for faster digestion. In real life, your post-gym shake feels lighter and less bloating than plain concentrate.
  • Just 2g total fat – keeps the extra calories in check, so it slots into your macros easy. Great for physique folks or anyone bumping protein without blowing calorie goals.
  • Low sodium at 20mg – lots of flavored powders load up on salt, but this stays low. Gives you room if your diet already has electrolytes, sauces, or takeout.
  • 80mg calcium per serving – not a huge calcium hit, but a nice bonus from dairy protein. Adds a bit of bone support to your shake.
  • Backed by strong evidence – whey protein is super studied in sports nutrition. Big reviews back it for muscle repair, making this one of the most solid supplement categories out there.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters chasing size who need solid post-workout protein over weak snacks. 24g blended whey delivers a real hit for muscle repair after big sessions.
  • Busy folks training early or lunch, hard to eat full meals right after. Isolate and hydrolyzed make it quick and easy to down versus heavier options.
  • Athletes cutting calories but holding muscle. 24g protein, 2g fat, lean profile fits deficits better than calorie-bomb proteins.
  • Regular gym rats short on daily protein needing a fix. Whey studies back it for muscle building; 24g makes a difference in totals.
  • Folks wanting a blend over pure isolate for better taste, feel, and digestion. Concentrate, isolate, hydrolyzed mix quick delivery without watery vibes.
  • Older active types keeping muscle and strength, tougher via food alone. Data shows many undershoot protein; whey helps make it doable.

How to Use

Mix 1 rounded scoop with 8-12 ounces cold water for light, or milk for thicker and more calories. Prime spot is 30-60 minutes post-training, grabbing quick protein without meal wait. Also good between eats, breakfast, or anytime protein's lagging. Dairy-sensitive? Test a half scoop first, since it has concentrate with isolate and hydrolyzed. Shaker bottle beats spoon for smooth mix; cold liquid helps taste and feel. Pairs awesome with creatine for energy and gains. No cycling needed – it's daily nutrition support. Keep it sealed, cool, dry, away from heat to maintain mix and flavor.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: you taste it, feel the texture, and notice if it's light or heavy on the gut. With hydrolyzed and isolate in the blend, it often sits better after workouts than straight concentrate. 10-40 minutes: digestion kicks in, aminos start hitting your system from the quick ones. No energy rush; it's about the background work. Next hours: you've locked in 24g protein instead of chancing it. Days 1-7: wins in ease and sticking to it. Weeks 2-4: if it keeps your protein steady, you'll see better recovery, consistent sessions, and solid muscle support.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein does Commissary Whey provide per serving?

Each serving provides 24g of protein. That is a meaningful amount for a single feeding and sits squarely in the range commonly used to support muscle protein synthesis after training.

What protein sources are used in Condemned Commissary Whey?

The formula uses a blend of whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and hydrolyzed whey protein concentrate. That combination is designed to balance fast digestion, practical texture, and an effective complete amino acid profile.

Is this an isolate-only protein?

No. It includes whey isolate, but it is not a pure isolate formula. It also contains whey concentrate and hydrolyzed whey concentrate, so users specifically seeking isolate-only should know this is a blended whey product.

When is the best time to take Commissary Whey?

The most practical time is after training, when a fast and convenient protein feeding helps support recovery. It also works well between meals or anytime your daily protein intake is falling short.

Is 24g protein enough for post-workout recovery?

For many users, yes. A 24g whey serving is within the commonly studied range for stimulating muscle protein synthesis, especially when total daily protein intake is otherwise on point.

Can I stack this with creatine?

Yes, and it is one of the best foundational stacks in sports nutrition. Protein provides the amino acids needed for recovery and hypertrophy, while creatine supports ATP regeneration for strength and performance.

Does this product contain a proprietary blend?

The total protein is disclosed at 24g, but the individual amounts of whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolyzed whey are not listed. So while you know the total protein content, you do not know the exact ratio of each source.

Is this a good option for cutting?

Yes, for many users it is. With 24g protein, 2g fat, and a lean overall macro profile, it fits well into calorie-controlled phases where preserving lean mass is a priority.

Is Commissary Whey good for people with lactose sensitivity?

It depends on your tolerance. Because the formula includes whey concentrate, it will usually contain more lactose than an isolate-only product, so highly sensitive users may prefer a pure isolate instead.

Does this product need to be cycled?

No. Whey protein is a nutritional supplement, not a stimulant or receptor-driven ingredient, so it can be used daily as part of a consistent protein intake strategy.

Clear and powerful analysis.
Format: Paperback
The three books in Bowlby's trilogy on Attachment, Separation and Loss need to be read a whole. Using the studies and case histories of children being separated from their mothers and important others, in a wide range of circumstances from separations of only a few minutes, through separations of several weeks on up to prolonged and permanent separation due to divorce and death, Bowlby outlines a new way of understanding neurosis, psychosis and optimal, healthy functioning. Using the lens of a Darwinian analysis, and the case histories written up by psychoanalysts spanning decades, he compares and contrasts his new theory with that of previous psychological thought, especially the psychoanalytic tradition. I found his analysis penetrating and illuminating. It sets the stage and formulates the hypotheses for further research. Much of that research has now taken place and has borne out Bowlby's theories. Not all of it, of course. Because Bowlby's attachment theory became and continues to be such a foundational analysis for so much that has followed in its wake, from evolutionary psychology to child development to psychotherapy, it is a must read for anyone interested in these and related fields.

A briliant book
Format: Paperback
This book is very neat in its specifics about the effects of absence when a mother is not in a child's life and the roles and effects of mother figures as well. Myself dealing with abandonment issues from my mom and my mother figure in my life, this book really assists in identifying the issues caused from the absent parent. Though the book doesn't offer any real advice as to deal with these problems that arise, it identify's the issues and allows you to further your research in progression. The writing style used can get rather complex though, be prepared for that. I agree with everything provided in this book and recommend it to anyone who's interested in either the psychological effects of absence of a parent, or seek to identify it themselves.

Bowlby Books
Format: Paperback
As an MFT graduate student, first hand accounts are important. For the price, add depth to your research writing as the theory intended. Bowlby makes separation axiety, child anger and anger clear. This is a good read even for those who are not in a clinical field. Worth a lot more too me than I paid.

Another piece to the triology offered by Bowlby
Format: Paperback
As with Bowlbys' other works, this classic furthers the hypothesis of negative emotional influence on the continued development of humans as we integrate with our social environments. I liked it...in fact, liked all of Bowlbys' writings.
