Surface Design: Slight crackling is normal due to the fact that this material is manufactured using reactive glaze with a metallic base. This kind of glaze is characterized by its transparency and crystalline finish, which provides a shade diversity between different tiles and within the tile itself.
The metal-based glaze will show crackle lines. The cracks that appear are the result of a normal crackling effect of this type of metallic glaze. This is a natural process of the product that will continue over time, regardless of whether the tiles are installed or not. This effect is a characteristic of the glaze and cannot be considered as surface damage.
Sealing: For installation in wet areas we recommend sealing tile prior to grouting and after the installation. Tile Club recommends the Porous Plus sealant for these ceramic tiles.
Cleaning: We recommend cleaning with water immediately after the installation and grouting to avoid any cementitious waste hardening and adhering to the surface of the ceramic tiles. For ongoing cleaning and maintenance, use a soft cloth soaked in a diluted solution of PH neutral detergent. In no case should abrasive products or cleaners with an acid or alkaline base be used.
