Increased Stability and Comfort
Designed to offer increased stability and comfort, using the Bathing Cushion means you don't have to miss out on time spent relaxing in the bath. Remaining independent and dignified is integral for some people with limited mobility and the Bath Lift helps you retain this independence and dignity.

How Does the Bath Lift Work?
Once you've been lowered to the bottom of the bath by the Bath Lift, you can choose whether to leave a small amount of air in the cushion to act as a back support, or release all the air to lie right back and bathe as normal.

When bathing is finished, the Bathing Cushion Bath Lift can be re-inflated using the Airflo compression. This lifts you up steadily until you're level with the top of the bath.

Supremely Portable
Weighing only 2kg and featuring a carry handle, Manger's Bath Lift is extremely portable. This makes it ideal for taking away on visits or on holiday. It can also be set up or removed in seconds and requires no fixtures or adaptations in an existing bathroom.

An excellent book...a must read!
Format: Paperback
Ruthie Gilmore's examination of California's prison-industrial complex paints a sobering portrait of the effects of the state's post-industrial decline in the past quarter century. Supplemented by numerous charts, maps, and statistics, Gilmore argues that the massive prison-building project that began in the early 1980s was rooted in earlier developments, namely the failure of the "welfare-warfare state" to absorb the numerous surpluses created by political and economic restructuring. Combining theory and historical-sociological analysis, this highly readable book is at once depressing and optimistic; it lays out the facts and guidelines for pursuing meaningful, antiracist struggles against the systemic dehumanization of immigrants, low-wage workers, and youths of color that continues to characterize U.S. political culture.
