Overview
With digital temperature control, the MyTemp™ incubators provide convenient "set and walk away" operation, eliminating the need for external thermometers and repetitive "fine tuning" of an analog control knob. Simply choose the desired temperature and the incubator immediately begins to heat up (or cool down, -HC model only) while accurately monitoring the chamber temperature and conveniently displaying the temperature in real time on the large LED control panel.
Despite a modest footprint of 14.5 x 13", the MyTemp incubators feature large internal chambers, capable of storing flasks and bottles up to 2 liter. In addition, the incubators include two adjustable shelves and an internal outlet for powering small shakers, rockers and other instrumentation. A mini nutating rocker (supplied with both flat and dimpled mats) is available for agitation of samples during incubation.

FAQ
Is there any kind of air filter in the MyTemp Mini Digital Incubator?
No, there is not.
Does the MyTemp Mini Digital Incubator have an access port?
No, there are no access ports. When the incubator door is shut, the unit is completely sealed. A hole can be drilled to provide a port, however this will void the warranty. Neither Laboratory Supply Network nor Benchmark Scientific will make this modification for you - it's something you would have to do yourself.
If this is something you would be interested in doing, please contact us and we can provide instructions for doing so. Drilling a hole in the wrong location can destroy the incubator, and we are not responsible for any resulting damages.
How fast does the MyTemp Mini heat and cool?
There is no specified rate of temperature change, but we tested how long it took for one to go from 30°C to 40°C and it took 10 minutes. We also tested how long it took to cool from 20°C to 10°C and it took an hour (cooling uses a peltier element rather than a compressor, so it occurs relatively slowly). While it won't always heat at a rate of 1°C / minute nor always cool at 1°C / 6 minutes, as it can and will vary based on a number of factors including the starting temperature and the room temperature, it should usually be in the ballpark.
Please note that this was just a test performed for informational purposes, and the heating and cooling rates are not in any way guaranteed.
Is the MyTemp Mini Digital Incubator programmable?
No, it is not. It will hold the setpoint temperature indefinitely until you manually change it or turn it off.
Is it possible to get a certificate of calibration with the MyTemp Mini?
No. While all MyTemp Mini incubators go through a quality control testing process, Benchmark Scientific does not provide certificates of calibration for the MyTemp Mini.
