Built specifically for the 2004. 52005 Duramax LLY. This transmission isnt just a basic rebuild, its a carefully engineered solution designed to bring enhanced durability and performance to one of GMs most popular platforms.

If your Allison 1000 is starting to show its age or you're looking for a solid upgrade to handle more towing, tougher terrain, or just everyday use with confidence, the BD RoadMaster transmission package is exactly what you need. Built specifically for the 2004.5–2005 Duramax LLY.

This transmission isn’t just a basic rebuild, it’s a carefully engineered solution designed to bring enhanced durability and performance to one of GM’s most popular platforms. The magic starts with a modified valve body that improves overall clutch performance and lifespan. Inside the transmission, BD keeps the stock clutch counts, but doubles the torque-holding capacity in the failure-prone C2 and C4 clutch packs, giving you far better holding power and way less slip, especially when towing or under heavy load. To help keep transmission temperatures under control, the RoadMaster package includes BD’s signature deep cast aluminum pan, which adds an additional 3.5 quarts of fluid capacity and helps dissipate heat much more effectively than stock. Every RoadMaster transmission also comes with BD’s billet ProForce torque converter. This converter is designed to deliver strong, consistent clutch engagement, even when the heat is on. Whether you're tackling steep grades with a trailer or cruising empty, the ProForce torque converter ensures your truck responds smoothly and confidently.

Before it ships, each unit is dyno tested for quality and performance. When it comes to peace of mind and real durability, the BD RoadMaster doesn’t mess around, it’s built to last and ready to work.

SHIPPING POLICY - Due to the size and weight of transmissions, they cannot be shipped through traditional couriers, such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. and MUST be shipped via truck freight. We do not offer free shipping on transmissions, however, we do offer a very competitive rate charged at checkout. Once your core transmission is ready for pick up, you just need to give us a call or send us an e-mail with your original order number and the core tag on the transmission, and we can supply you with a quote on the return shipping as that is not covered in the original shipping cost. Otherwise, we give you the option to coordinate the return shipping on your own and independently pay your courier of choice.
