About this treasure:

Filled with love this beautiful collectors piece marks the passing of a loved one in 1868. This ring is in exceptionally rare example of mourning jewellery and would be a beautiful addition to any jewellery lovers collection.

We not only appreciate the story behind this ring, but we also love how it epitomises Victorian sentimental jewellery. Mourning jewellery became popular in the Georgian and Victorian era as a way of remembering those who have passed. They are testaments to the adoration of one to another.

The front of the ring features a beautiful enamelled oval panel. The deep black enamel providing a rich contrast to the buttery gold setting. Set into the enamel panel we have a diamond cross created from rose cut diamonds. Their fresh white sparkle glistening in the light

The band itself is highly ornate featuring fine chase work around the entire band. The words ‘in memory of‘ unscripted in gothic font have been usually enamelled in white, red and blue. though there has been much loss to the original enamel the grandeur hasn‘t been lost in time. Looking at the design we can also say this has not be altered in its history, which is rare of a piece if this age.

An exceptional antique sentimental ring, this has all the love and beauty it had in 1868 when it was first created.

Works well, easy to use
Great little hand grinder. So much easier to use than the last one I purchased. I moved and both of my electric grinders & my hand grinder are still somewhere in storage. This easily portable gadget has been a lifesaver at a decent price. Seems sturdy enough after using it a few weeks.

Better than expected
This thing is great. I wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. I have no complaints, quality is fine, the grind is fine, it's easy to use. I've used mine every day since I purchased it and it works good as new. This is my first manual burr grinder, so there could very well be better ones out there, but I am very happy with this purchase.

A good little grinder for small batches.
It's a good quality grinder, I use mine for my moka pot since the grind needs to be specific. It's very easy to use and its small enough to store away. The only issue is it takes some time and effort to grind for more than one person, so keep that in mind if you're brewing anything more than a cup of espresso or a moka pot. I've dropped mine more than I can count so store on its side (although its very sturdy and was not broken) A solid product.

Works very well as a pill grinder!
One of the clients I work with needs his pills crushed and dissolved. We have relied on the spoons method for years but some of his newer medications don’t crush well enough using that method. We tried the basic plastic pill crushers but they tend to get gummed up and don’t actually pulverize the pills. This fit our needs perfectly and the pills get crushed into a fine powder with ease. It is very easy to use and clean and takes very little effort to operate (at least for pills).
