The AC2 Volcán Manual Wind marks an important milestone for Anders & Co as the brand’s first mechanical timepiece—introducing a new level of engagement while remaining grounded in the design principles that define the collection.
Presented here with a grained grey gradient dial, this execution brings subtle depth and variation to the AC2 platform. The textured surface and tonal transition interact with light in a restrained manner, offering quiet complexity without disrupting the clarity and balance of the design.
At its core is the ETA 7001, a manually wound caliber chosen for its slim architecture, reliability, and longstanding relevance in fine watchmaking. Its inclusion was carefully considered—not simply as a mechanical upgrade, but as a movement that aligns with the proportions and intent of the AC2. The watch maintains a total thickness of 6.65mm, inclusive of its display caseback, preserving the refined profile of the original design.
The case is hand-finished, combining brushed surfaces with mirror-polished accents to emphasize its geometry and transitions.
