Beautifully engraved, this sweet mare and colt vase makes a great addition to any horse loving home.
The genius behind Moser Glass, one of the most respected names in the crystal industry, was Ludwig Moser. He was born in 1833 in the spa town of Karlovy Vary, now in the Czech Republic, to Henriette and Lazar Moser, a Jewish family, he received his primary education in Karlovy Vary, and then attended a secondary technical school in Vienna for four years. In 1847, he returned to Karlovy Vary and continued his studies in nearby Loket, but left school in 1848 for family and financial reasons. He took an apprenticeship with the renowned glass engraver A.H. Mattoni, one of the founders of that great tradition in Karlovy Vary.
After 2 years under Mattoni's tutelage, Moser left to look for work as a glass engraver, before returning to Karlovy Vary and Mattoni, where he took a position in his workshop as an engraver. In 1851, he took a job in a workshop in Prague and attended drawing classes taught by Christian Ruben, a well-known painter of historical scenes.
He joined the Craftsman's Association and gained some notoriety with his engravings of hunting and ornamental motifs. His newly acquired experience and personal success encouraged him to return once again to Karlovy Vary and start his own business, leasing a boutique from his one time mentor, Mattoni, in 1855.
Moser's boutique thrived on the banks of the Tepla River, benefiting greatly from the seasonal tourists visiting the bustling spa town. He offered finished products for sale, and would also engrave special orders for wealthier customers. He kept the boutique open through the summer of 1856, and worked from his parents' home in the winter. By 1857, it was time to grow from a seasonal shop into his own full time business. He began to lay the foundation for what we know today as Moser Glass. He opened a store where he sold not only typical Bohemian engraved glass, but also fashionable alabaster glass pieces, punch services, and chandelier drops, all of which he purchased from other glassworks.
The 1860s represent a time of tremendous growth, both in business and personally, for Moser. He married, had 6 children, and when his wife died in 1869, he married Julie Meyer and had 4 more sons. He also opened a second shop and enjoyed much success selling mirrors, frames, and when gas lighting was introduced, gas chandeliers and wall lights.
By 1873, he took over the shop of his competitor Hoffman and with his purchase, acquired the warehouse of one of the largest mirror producers in the Austro-Hunagarian Empire. His establishment of such a stable and prosperous business allowed him to take on other projects in the later 1860s and early 1870s. He began to focus on expanding his own production, most likely very conscious of the need to respond to the ever changing stylistic developments of this period. He thus began to promote his products and show at exhibitions around the world. He was awarded several medals at various shows, and in 1873 received the prestigious Medal of Merit at the World Exhibition in Vienna. That same year, Moser was named the official supplier to the imperial and royal court, and had also secured a stable market in London, Paris, New York, and St. Petersburg. It was during these prosperous years of the early to mid 1870s that the range of products changed to selling exclusively decorative and drinking glass.
By 1892, Moser decided the dependence on raw glass sources became too difficult, and thus obtained a building permit for his own glassworks in Karlovy Vary. The success of the glassworks continued well into the 20th century with Moser's sons at the helm. Not even the tumultuous years of WWII and the communist regime through the 1990s affected the quality of Moser's product or its prestigious reputation. Today, Moser is known world wide as one of the most beautiful examples of Bohemian glass, esteemed for their masterful copper-wheel engraving, exact cuts, optically pure glass, wonderful translucent colors, and excellent designs. They have truly earned their moniker, Glass of Kings.

Looks fine at a glance but definitely budget
Color: Ivory, Size: Large
I picked this up in the ivory color and the overall design leans very old school, especially with the oversized front buttons. They look nice from a distance, but up close they feel a bit cheap. The pants are one of the better parts, with a comfortable fit and an elastic waistband, and the included tie is a nice touch. Fit seems generally accurate, though having a size chart would have helped. The material is where the cost really shows, with a coarse polyester exterior and a smoother inner lining that helps with comfort. It gets the job done if you need something affordable in a pinch, just don’t expect it to feel or look high end up close.

Great looking suit
This suit is very good looking. To me, it is hard to find a suit in a cream color like this, that actually looks good. This one pulled off the trick for me!
The jacket is well made and if you look at the posted photos you will see that the hankie pocket is slightly slanted. That makes this suit a bit unique among others. It even comes with the Red Tie included!
It is well made, great looking, fits right and feels great.

Too Wide and Not Long Enough for Tall, Skinny Builds
I bought this for my 16-year-old son (he’s about 6’2” and very tall and slender with a normal pant size of 30" 34") to have something simple in his closet for school dances and occasional events. Gray felt versatile — something he could dress up or down without overthinking it.
Sizing was the biggest issue for us. I ordered a men’s large because that’s typically what I buy him for sweat pants, work out pants and for the added length in shirts, but this suit was way too big through the waist and chest. For something labeled “slim fit,” it did not fit like a slim suit at all. The inseam measured at 31 inches, which is shorter than other suits we’ve purchased for him, and the size chart (which wasn’t available when I ordered) doesn’t even list inseam measurements at all — which really matters for tall, lean boys like mine.
As far as construction, this feels more like an occasional-wear suit for a teenager than something a grown man would wear regularly. The jacket is lined, which is nice, and it includes extra buttons. But there were loose threads inside around the buttons and pockets, and some stitching — especially under the arm pit area it already looked like it could come apart with wear. The inside pocket material feels thin and not especially durable. The arm length itself was a great fit for my tall son, and even offered a little room for growth.
The pants were similar. When I turned them inside out, I noticed loose threads where the seams meet, particularly at the crotch. The pocket lining material feels rough, and there is only 1 extra inch of fabric at the hem if you need additional length, where I am used to seeing 2 inches of material for adjustments. I noticed that my son wore his belt on his hips when he tried it on so he pant legs would look more of a normal length.
Overall, this might work fine as a backup suit for someone who needs it once in a while and isn’t overly concerned with tailoring or long-term durability. But based on fit and construction, it’s not something I would purchase for my husband or for frequent wear.

I dislike the royal blue - I abhor the cheap, tacky buttons
I requested this product without being able to see the product photo or any information about it (beyond the title) because I requested a similarly-priced 3-piece suit on Amazon previously and that was a fine suit; it wasn't amazing, but it was decent. This is far worse and I don't think many people would feel good about spending the $75 on this.
I would never wear this suit jacket in public because it would embarrass me due to the color and the buttons. I suppose the color is a subjective choice, and I like many shades of blue and have two blue suits. A dark blue would've been OK with me (preferable), or even a lighter blue could be OK I suppose - but this "royal blue" shade is nauseating to me, its as if its trying to be overly-vibrant.
The buttons aren't just a problem because they're cheap plastic - their placement is reminiscent of a style of suit jackets I've only ever seen in history books or old period movies set in eras well over a century ago - nobody wears jackets like this anymore unless they're dressed in formal uniforms like police. The title says it could be for a prom? No, I would not ever wear it to a prom or suggest it as a suit anyone would wear to a prom.
The pants are decent! This is why I'm giving it two stars. Initially I couldn't imagine wearing this suit in any way whatsoever but the pants fit well and have a very professional-looking crease right where it should be. The color is bad, but I'll keep it in the back of the closet for days when I have no other slacks appropriate for work that are clean. I greatly appreciate the elastic in the waistband - it has that new stretchy type which allowed me to fit into it without trouble even though someone of my weight otherwise wouldn't.

It's nice enough, but nothing spectacular
This was definitely a gamble since there was no picture provided.... But, my husband needed a newer suit, so we took a chance. Well, it's green! Which is the last thing we expected lol. But, it's not terrible. My husband actually thinks he can do something with it. I'm disappointed because it's only a jacket, pants and tie- not a three piece with a vest like i thought I was getting. Also the fabric just isn't a great material. For $80, it's not great. I've gotten better for $20 from temu. However, it does fit very him very nicely. He's about 5 foot nine or ten, 185lb. If you're in a bind and need a suit in a hurry, this will certainly do just fine. Just know it's not luxury. Pictures are taken right out of the bag, not ironed or anything.
